I don’t really know where to start, first of all the restaurant was really dirty the table was a mess and I don’t wanna even mention the restroom when we took the kids to use it they refused and I don’t blame them the plates were dirty the spoons were uncleaned we told the lady who is the server and the owner at the same time that we wanted plastic spoons but she didn’t like it that we asked for it . I went today with my friend and our children to this restaurant thinking it would be good. we ordered lamb biryani and two chicken sag. we told the lady who was the server and the owner of the restaurant that we want some of the food to be zero or one spicy for the kids to eat. the food was really spicy all of it and when we told her that was not what we ordered she started lying and saying the food will be spicy regardless. she was rude and rough she lacks any customer service skills. when she brought the receipt the food was $70 which is way overpriced I give her $100 bill and then she asked me if I want my change back which is very rude to ask. she’s a greedy and unprofessional person, I told her of course I wanted my change back when she brought me the change she cheated on the receipt and she gave me a different receipt than the one she gave earlier so now I have two different receipts one say 70 dollars and the other say is $90 when I confronted her she said it’s already in the system and that she can’t change it. she was very unprofessional and very greedy very low person I will never go back to such a place and I really don’t recommend it to anyone.

I ordered the paneer makhani spice level 5 and dal soup. The positives, the paneer makhani was delightfully spiced and flavored (Indian style and spice level, not American level spices. An Americanized spice level 6/6 is often even not enough for me. The sauce was more flavorful and less creamy and Americanized. I really enjoyed that and might come back just for that. The negatives, almost $20 for a a vegetarian entree and small cup of soup is unacceptable. The price points on their current menu from the former one online went WAY up. Also, the dal soup was decent but forgettable so I won't get that again. I tried to pay with a $100 bill and they couldn't make change so know that ahead of time.

Wanted to try some new Indian place so ordered from here via Uber eats . Ordered chicken tikka masala and Malai Kofta. The chicken was good like any other place . Was very disappointed with the Malai Koft and Naan. The kofta was raw and I was able to taste and see the besan( gram flour ). The naan was also partially raw .Wanted a rate higher for the chicken but raw food is not acceptable.

This place is top notch for your Indian cuisine fix. They have a buffet on Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm until 5 pm also. I am so thankful to find this place as I love a good buffet with a variety of quality food, thus it is one of the only Indian restaurants in the whole Tristate area with a buffet.Give a try, you will not be disappointed.

We have been eating at New Taj Mahal for a few years now and regard it as a really good restaurant for quality Indian food. Upon a recent visit for my favorite Chicken Tikka Masala, I realized that they were under new management. I decided to order and see if there was a difference in the quality and to my satisfaction, the food was amazing as it has always been. Big kudos to the kitchen, Big kudos to Alina and best wishes to her with the "Woman Owned" endeavor at New Taj Mahal.

My favorite thing in the restaurant are the naan breads as they are very soft and tasty. For main course we ordered paneer and chicken Makhni. While both the gravy’s tasted great I was little disappointed with the paneer slices which did not have great quantity. More gravy and less protein. We like salad on the side so ordered the onion chili salad.

First time visiting this location . The food was excellent and our waitress was super awesome. If you like Indian food I highly recommend this place.

The food has significantly improved. The roti is fresh. The chai is THE best. This is coming from a chai lover who does not settle for less.

Dinner buffet is back open and was great. Love and missed this places buffet!!
