You’re met with an inviting exterior that continues as you make your way inside and are greeted by the friendly baristas. “The word I have to describe this diner: WOW! My boyfriend & I decided to eat here last minute while we visited for the solar eclipse. We are so happy we did. The servers were wonderful & kind, the atmosphere was fun, the food was amazingggg. I have tried burgers from all over & I think the one I had there was my favorite I’ve had. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection with fresh toppings. It is a bit smaller inside but they fit a lot of seating in a small space. I HOGHLY recommend. You need to try it!!! ?”

“I recently attended a family gathering at Farmers Daughter in Urbana,OH. We had back room reserved. The employees were very polite. I dealt with several of them. I also watched the others and they all smiled during our stay. Most of folks in our group was happy with meal. Hawaiian chicken was delicious(gotta like pineapple on chicken). Meatloaf is always good.Wheelchair accessibility: Did have ramp for wheelchair.”

“Ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, it was delicious. Nice crust, not crispy or doughy, the sauce is flavorful and the toppings were just right. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend their pizza.”

“Great quality of food with a twist on the usual recipes. We tried the Caesar salad, chicken and veggie potstickers, the Asian bowl and the grilled 3 cheese with bacon, tomato and spinach served on sour dough bread. It came with fries too. Large serving sizes, made fresh to order, great taste on all items. We will be going back. Only negative is that it’s only take-out and drive-thru so you have to wait until you get home to eat and we live a good 20-25 minutes from the restaurant.”

“On a whim we decided to meet our children and grandchildren half way between us in Columbus and them in Lima. We decided on a pizza place but it was closed when we got there. So I Yelped, of course, to find another restaurant near by. LUCKY for us we found The Syndicate! The restaurant is nice, airy and comfortable and when we said we were a party of 7 the woman seating us didnt bat an eye which was a huge relief as we had 3 small hungry children. They seemed to be a bit understaffed but our server and the young man helping her were so insanely nice and patient we felt well treated. Now it's not an inexpensive place BUT there is a difference between value for money and cheaper. Value for money, to us, is an interesting menu selection that delivers and delivers with taste and freshness. We plan on going back just to work our way through the menu. I had gnocchi that was pillowy and sublime. My husband and SiL had the pork schnitzel that they raved about and my daughter had the salmon with shrimp which was so generous she took half of it home. Now two things that are super pluses THE BEST CARROT CAKE any of us have ever had including the one I make and the chocolate cake was actually my fave because it was not overly sweet and you taste the cocoa. They have a full bar with a nice wine selection. Thank you The Syndicate for dinner last night you made 7 people very, very happy.”

“Amazing drinks! We all tried something different and each of us loved them all! My daughter had the lavender lemonade with blueberries and boba beads, 2 of us had spiked iced vanilla chais, and we also tried spiked cold brew and mocha brew! There truly wasn't anything we tried that we didn't like including the cappuccino! I think it was the owner that was running the shop? She was amazing and so kind! She made my daughter feel so special with her drink and gave her an extra hippie sticker. I sincerely appreciated her kindness towards her and going that extra mile to make her day, she's in the awkward 13 year old stage of life and normally tries to shy away from any involvement socially- too old to be a "cute kid" and too young to be considered an adult. She unknowingly set the mood for the rest of our day by showing her a little extra kindness!We will definitely be back the next time we're in Urbana!”

On our side of the restaurant, the order was taken quickly, food service delivery was quick, with a tag team effort by the prep staff bringing out food, wait staff friendly, portions very generous, pricing extremely reasonable.With the extreme business, you know that this place is a WINNER!!! “I have been eating at this place since I was 4 years old I am 45. These are the best greasy sliders you'll ever put in your mouth. It is family run. Every time I go home I have to have them. They are sooooooo good. If you haven't tried them you need a cheeseburger with everything. They make and sell their own mustard.”

“I love Mumfords sandwiches so much! After a long day of working my tail feather off, there is nothing I want more than an 8 inch sandwich in my stomach. However, I do have one complaint. Most of the staff is very friendly, but the woman I see most often at the register is always grumpy and I’ve never seen a smile on that woman’s face. This ruins my Mumford experience, and I would seriously putting a more friendly face on register. Thank you!”

“I had the shiver moo, which is their version of a frappe. They have a long list of options, which all look great. The jade was really good and was ready in just a few minutes. The large drinks are a good size however they do charge extra for whipped cream.Parking: Very few parking spaces in the front.”

“I really enjoyed my meal. We got the salsa, guac and queso appetizer with tortilla chips. Guac and queso were AMAZING but the salsa tasted like VERY heaving tomato paste, like tomato sauce. I ordered a few tacos. Shrimp was one and delicious. Al pastor was the other, it was good but not the best so next time I'll get both shrimp. My husband said his wasn't that good. I think he may have gotten the pork or chorizo one.”
