“This is a good old fashioned Mom & Pop Restaurant in Spencer, Ohio. We were out searching for a good breakfast and we FOUND IT here at "Spencer Twist." We spoke with owner Dave. He said he was owned the restaurant for 8 years. I asked if the hours are consistent weekly. He says d he has been doing some catering from graduation parties and some hours are cut occasionally. I suggest if you are planning on heading to Spencer Twist you call first to make sure they are open. When we walked in, restaurant was 75% full. It seats 30 people. As far as our breakfast food. Delicious! Perfectly prepared to our request EGGS. Home fries were crispy and we discussed the best home fries we've ever had. The value was very very good. Food is served on paper plates, no big deal, still delicious. There was specials that were not on the menu. Dave said he's planning on specials of chicken paprikash and ribs. Yum! We will definitely be back!“

“Came here with my friend Jack for a motorcycle ride lunch. We got to meet Aunt B and had a pleasant chat about her recent ownership of the restaurant. If you want to experience a friendly, wholesome piece of Americana, this is the place. Our server Theresa was friendly and attentive and the food came out quick, was well cooked and tasty. Our coffee cups were never empty. Treat yourself to this small town gem. Support local eateries or they'll slowly disappear. Aunt B's stays on our list of lunch destinations.“

“For those of you following us as we make our way around Ashland restaurants, our group made it to Perkins this time and for the most part all were happy with our meals ( one person's egg burger was way overdone, everyone else gave a thumbs up- my pancakes with strawberries were delicious) but the 2 whole pies we had for dessert were the cherry on top! The lemon meringue and the peanut butter pies were amazing! The waitresses were patient with our large group & took great care of us. Thanks Ladies!“

“The restaurants always clean. Most often busy but the staff keeps up at a great pace. Becky was our server. She's awesome. Whoever brought us to the table was also a great host. Food was great, relatively quick considering how busy they were. Anyone working today was doing a great job. The crew were communicating and having a good time I wanted to get in on it. Always a good experience route 83 and I-71 location“

“Driving through this little town & decided to stop for lunch. The ambiance was typical of a small town diner. Our friendly server took our drink order while we perused the menu. Hubby got the Smoked Pork Chop w/2 sides: green beans & mashed potatoes. I ordered off the breakfast menu: Deep fried SW Tortilla bowl. We both enjoyed our food. While we were eating, our wonderful server dropped off a plate of 3 biscuits with sausage gravy saying it was made in error & she didn't want to throw it out. How kind of her! Hubby doesn't like sausage gravy but I loved it. We would definitely return here when in the area.“
