“We came with what ended up being a party of 26 unexpectedly on a Saturday night after a high school cheer competition and the staff were able to accommodate us. We completely understood if they weren't able to do this, but they made it happen and we didn't have to wait. We were so grateful! It was so wonderful to enjoy a meal all together. Our server was excellent. More than excellent, actually. And the kitchen had our food out very promptly. We were there a little under two hours. Thank you so much for a great experience and the opportunity to spend quality time together.“
“Food was good! Wait staff was nice! The only issue was that it took a while to be seated and the place did not seem busy. However, they told me it was because they didn’t have many people working there, so they were trying their best. My friend and I enjoyed our time there tho, so that is all that matters. :)“
“I ate at the restaurant yesterday, February 5th and tried their new grilled chicken with avocado and corn and black beans which was awesome. Great new addition to the menu. The general manager, named Rocky and assistant GM, Ali, both visited our table and were extremely friendly and professional. Keep up the good work and I’ll be back next week for my chicken“

“This place is just fantastic! We have eaten here three times and the food is terrific, the burgers are always perfect and the fries are the best I've had in a very long time. The greens are what sent me over the edge, absolutely delicious, I could eat them every day. I have not tried carryout yet although we plan to, we actually ended up here after a concert. We had reservations at a fancy place before the show and were severely disappointed and afterwards we were starving so we stopped in and were so happy we did. We plan to try everything on the menu, it is that good!“
“Stopped for the first time today. Service was excellent. Manager (I'm assuming) explained menu items to us and made recommendations. My husband had the Five & Dime, as recommended, and said it was fantastic. I had the grits bowl. I love grits, and these were the best I've had in a eatery. Relaxed atmosphere. “Raised in Louisiana, moved to California, went to Columbus on vacation. What a surprise to find some of the most authentic Cajun food since Louisiana. Nothing fancy for sure, but definitely reminds me of a good home-cooked dinner in Louisiana. Got a chance to talk to the owner of this location, and just in southern hospitality fashion got to know a little backstory about him and his family and the restaurant. Was kind of a nice treat. Hopefully, next time I get a chance to visit, they’ll have some shrimp and grits, and then I would surely pack up and move to Ohio!“
“3/26/24... Here for lunch I had the Beef Stroganoff nice large serving for the price. My husband had their Club sandwich and french fries. Taylor is our server, very friendly and he was prompt on the ball for refills etc.... Great food and really great service today, thanks Taylor ☺️?!!! I'm going to say that 2x I had to speak with Tyler the manager on duty. Tyler was nice and understanding he was willing to help in any way he could. I felt I needed to simply bring it to his attention that Kyle was asked by several people in our party that we needed extra napkins, side plates, drink refills, cleared plates, condiments etc... I understand during this time in the restaurant industry it's difficult to have full staffing. That's not our fault or the way that our family celebration was expecting it to be! Have tried many things on the menu including fish tacos, chicken sandwich and pizzas and all were delicious. Rusty Bucket always offers lots of craft beers on tap as well as nice cocktail choices. “I was looking for a good place to try afternoon tea and stumbled upon this restaurant. Asterisk has a very nice ambiance, with a dark academia look using books as menus and different pattern tea ware. You do not need a reservation to come here because there is a large shared table in the middle, but it is recommended for a smaller private table. The seats at the large table are very close together and personally do not want to be bumping elbows while I eat. The afternoon tea service was a joy. You can pick as many teas as you like and choose from a variety of finger sandwiches. The service is very good and the servers will explain anything on their menu that you need. The dinner menu has very nice options, but I was not entirely impressed with the flavor. I mainly come here for the atmosphere, but the food isn't terrible, just not amazing. I still recommend this place for an intimate meal or a joyful tea time.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options.Parking: There are parking lots a couple blocks away or street parking if available.Kid-friendliness: It is more of an adult atmosphere.“
