Very unassuming gem. It is a breakfast diner and they do breakfast right! Pancakes were amazing and huge! Pecan roll is beyond description and staff was friendly and efficient. Our group also gave high marks for the Eggs Benedict and Eggleston sandwich. Top notch! My ballerina daughter crushed the pancake challenge!

Found this place on our way back from traveling and the atmosphere alone was so inviting and friendly. Gena, the owner, was present and talking with us which is always so pleasant to experience when you are at a place for the first time. The food was absolutely delicious on top of that! I got a omelet with the potatoes. Highly suggest it. Wish I had the chance to try their other food!

Great place and very busy on a Saturday morning. The staff did an excellent t job of moving people thru and the service was great. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this place for a fun casual place to eat.

If you're like me and you love a greasy spoon breakfast spot for those hungover weekend mornings, you'll like Gena's.My wife and I were visiting a friend who lives very nearby Gena's and she recommended we go there for breakfast, and I was glad we did so. A sign on the wall declares that they have the "Greatest American Pecan Roll," so I knew I had to order one and test this theory. Their claim is dubious at best--the pecan roll was OK but nothing special. However, the eggs Benedict my wife and I had were actually very tasty. The only Benny I've had that was any better was at the Wynn in Las Vegas (for triple the price). I didn't have any pancakes but I saw someone else have one and it looked like an SUV tire.It's not the fanciest place on Earth (or even in Ohio), but if you need a hearty breakfast before you head out and explore the area Gena's is a good option.

Small, mom & pop style hidden gem of the area. My favorite kind of place for a weekend breakfast. I've lived in the area 5 years and only recently noticed it (facing the side street by Goodyear and McDonalds).Stopped in for breakfast and was very happy with eggs over easy (done properly!) and the hot sausage as a side, if you're into spicy stuff.I plan to go back, most definitely!
