Jersey Mike’s is always preferred over Charley’s, Penn Station or Firehouse.

Truly a sub above! One time an eating establishment lives up to its tagline.

Summarized review here:---As an experienced food service worker specializing in making subs, my recent store experience was unsatisfactory. The service was mediocre, with employees chatting instead of attending to customers. Despite being the only customers, we felt ignored. The sandwiches weren't as good as expected, and the store wasn't as clean as it should have been. Some staff seemed disinterested, and there were issues with portion sizes and freshness of bread. Overall, I was disappointed. I'd rate the store poorly and suggest speaking up for better service if you visit.Happy New Year all, and good day!---Keep reading for the complete review, down below ?---As an experienced food service worker with a specialization in making subs, I can confidently say that while the store was generally clean and tidy, my overall experience was less than satisfactory. The service was mediocre, with several employees standing around and chatting in the entryway to the back, seemingly unengaged in their work. While I understand the need for staff during peak hours, the large amount of leftover food and the inattention to our group, where one of my party had to assertively request service, left a lot to be desired. She felt bad, like she was being a Karen, that is frustrating. It appeared that they thought I was the only customer, despite there being three of us.This, combined with certain areas not being properly cleaned, the handling of the food, the lack of skill in food preparation, and the apparent overstaffing, gave the impression that the employees were only there for the paycheck. To be fair, some may have been leaving since it was closing time, and realistically, only one or two staff members would have been necessary for closing.Another oddity was the way they made the sandwiches, especially considering we were the only customers in the store and likely their last customers of the day.Additionally, there was a fellow co-worker (not a customer) who came in to chat with the employees and get a wrap, who seemed rude as he didn't acknowledge my gesture of holding the door for him, which then preceded him shutting it in my face, quite rudely I might add. They also prioritized him over our party.Regarding the food, while it wasn't terrible, it also wasn't as good as it could have been. The service lacked the attentiveness and quality expected. This paired with the store being only mostly clean, the facilities behind the counter were not up to the proper standard, especially considering the need for thorough cleaning, especially when handling orders for customers with dietary restrictions like veganism, to prevent cross-contamination.Not to mention, that the employees really didn't care, and probably wanted to go home.Additionally one of the staff was cutting all of my party's bread even shorter. I assume because of their training, and whom they were trained by.For example, he would take an already cut piece of bread, and then cut about 10-15% off like a wedge. Uh no, we didn't ask you to make our portions shorter. Again this is cause probably whoever trained them told them the bread needs to be a certain length. There were several other wedges by the other bread. I was also given bread that had been in the store all day, I was the last sandwich of that bread type (the herb and cheese). They had very little bread, and the bread I got was not very fresh at all.I've seen better, I've done better, and I'm honestly disappointed, there are better Jersey Mike's out there. Go here if you must, but speak up, and be clear you aren't getting satisfactory service. Also make sure to be clear about your food, who's ordering, and that you should get more than two pieces of bacon with your double bacon sandwich.I give one star for good cleanliness of bathrooms and seating, and one star for moderate standards. It's clear they aren't prepared nor ready for when they get an audit from corporate.Happy New Year all, and good day!

Twice now in the last month their payment system wouldn’t accept my debit card.On both occasions I chose “no tip” and can’t help but wonder if leaving a tip would have magically made it workThe last time it happened it had taken so long that I ended up leaving with no food. I literally left he sub they made on the counter.Terrible service.

If you are thinking of going to Jersey Mikes, save the $12 and just take a shot of vinegar ($.13) and vomit. Same difference. Soggy bread, cheap meat, tasteless cheese, zombie employees and veggies SOAKED in vinegar. Hard pass.

Sub was good. Staff seemed to be rushed and a little chaotic. Lady slicing meat seemed to be a little overwhelmed.

Of the big sub chains I like Jersey Mike's the best. Good service, good food, decent prices. There are cheaper places with worse food, and more expensive ones with better food (and smaller portions.) This is the sweet spot for me. Originally we wanted Ray Ray's but it is not open on Tuesdays. We had a coupon for Subway but couldn't find it, though Yelp said we were right on top of it. (It's in a gas station on Westerville Road, not visible from the Kroger lot.) So, this was convenient. Got in right before the lunch rush; didn't have to wait, but by the time we were done eating there were a dozen people in line. Service was friendly and patient, with a newbie and special requests. Nice selection but not a huge overwhelming menu. I got a Jersey Shore I think? Spin on an Italian. Decent bread, good meat, plenty of it. Fresh lettuce, plasticky tomatoes but tolerable. Mom got a Super, less cappicola, and liked it- took half home for supper. Nothing amazing, but good, and affordable. We'll keep it in mind next time we're up this way.

I ordered 3 giant Italian subs. The lettuce in the bin was brown so I asked if they had any lettuce that wasn't brown. The cashier told me they didn't have any more lettuce. I asked him if he could please check in the back to make sure. He said no. I asked for a manager and explained the situation to her. She got new lettuce and never apologized for the inconvenience. I thanked her. The cashier then told me that I could only have one large bag to carry out my 3 subs and topping containers. I told him that the cost of each giant sub is 16.95 and the least they could do is provide good service to their customers. The service at this establishment is atrocious!!!

Tons of customers and quick and friendly service! Thank you for making my day!

I love their turkey subs, but poor food handling nearly guarantees diarrhea 2 hours afterwards. Prices are also starting to get out of control, it'sno longer a fair value.

Never again will I order from here. The lack of customer service I received today was horrible from the manager. His lack of customer service to rectify the issue was horrible. He should have taken the loss for the missing items, receiving the incorrect chips, and missing a condiment from my sandwich. He blamed it on Doordash. I am under the impression that the same receipt/order from Doordash, which was very clear and translated to the restaurant, but he stated they did not prepare the order, Doordash did and it’s not their responsibility.
