We are passing through on our way back to Michigan from Florida and we are lucky enough to have come across Uptown Deli and Brew, the best food stop we have made! And easily now my favorite restaurant and bar in Ohio. The menu sounds simple when you see it is a sandwich shop, yet the food and drink menu both have gourmet features. The atmosphere and decor was entertaining and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My wife and I highly recommend!
Vegetarian options: I'm going pescatarian during Lent, and there was a nice variety of vegetarian options at Uptown Deli for dinner. I had the Beat It sandwich...beets, goat cheese, onions, and arugula on toasted bread. Absolutely delicious and out of the ordinary! My table also ordered a charcuterie board that had delicious cheeses, jam, and nuts :) One of my friends ordered the Caprese sandwich (no meat), and it also looked delicious!

Nice restaurant in uptown. We went on a Thursday night at 8pm. It was pretty busy but we were able to get a table. The host and servers were very nice. We got a beer, a sangria, Reuben, Tuscan turkey, and prosciutto. The drinks were good. All the sandwiches, apps, and sides tasted as they should, but nothing was great and doesn’t put them apart from any other deli. Their service, location, and atmosphere makes them unique.Parking: Uptown has free parking on the streets and well as a parking lot. It’s a 5 min walk from the free parking lot.

Just visited this place for the first time with a couple friends and we were blown away. We all agreed that it was the best sandwiches we had ever had. Our server Braeden was super knowledgeable & gave great suggestions. The quality of the food was there, such fresh ingredients & great flavor combinations. Can’t wait to come

Great food. Recommend the cheese curds - delicious and fresh. Server made suggestions on orders, which all turned out to be good ones. It's a long but narrowish place so some of the tables are a bit close together. Will be back again!Parking: Depending on time of day parking can be tricky. There are multiple surface lots but at dinner it can be tricky.
Rare to see deli coupled with bar and large screen TVs. Still, a nice place run by nice people. Large selection of sandwiches at reasonable prices. Food is very good, though cole slaw is too creamy and needs seasoning. Comfortable place. Will dine here again if opp arises.
Get the State and Main. Skip the beet salad. Great service.

Ordered the Octoberfest special $20 food was just warm as it would be since it was served on a cold plate the kraut was burned but I did not see that until half was thru the meal since the sausages covered that part, “served on a cold plate” I just could not understand such a lack of attention to basic kitchen skills “served on a cold plate??”
