There is so much potential for one of the best tasting ramen places in columbus. Great noodles exceptional broth and seasonings. The only thing keeping wukong express from being the best ramen in columus is the quality of meat and veggies.Takoyaki - 2/5 Frozen in the center. The flavor was good. Very savory. Nice creamy filling. Noticed a lack of a dipping sauce compared to other restaurants. I imagine cooked throughly. This may have been a 4/5Wukong Noodles 5/5 noodles are amazing. I love they have a little bite to them, unlike many lower quality ramen places with overcooked noodles.Wukong Broth 5/5-the broth is powerful. Flavorful and the right balance of spice. This doesn't have the watered-down taste common with ramen shops.Marinated egg 4/5 - Lots of flavor and perfectly cooked. Though could use a longer marinate to be perfect.Meat. 1.5/ 5 -Lots of flavor. Not much quality. All the meat tasted over cooked and a little dry as well as the pork was chewy and dry.Veggies 2.5/5 veggies didn't taste bad. But they had a lack of crunch you expect from fresh bean sprouts. (This may be a seasonal issue.)Overall, this is some of the best flavors you'll get at a ramen shop. That being said, with some improvements to the quality of meet and veggies. this may become the #1 place in central ohio for ramen.

Litterally the seafood ramen was so gross I couldn't bring myself to eat it after tasting it. Also the oyster shell was still "hairy"! Very poor quality of seafood. The noodles were instant ramen. The vegetables were just raw, maybe had 50 cents worth of veggies, a quarter cup of uncooked cabbage and beansprouts would be considered a generous description. Priced at 15 dollars for what? If I see a meal and the price is 15 I expect it to be at least a good flavor. This was such a scam. It was so bad. At least it was a pleasant amount of spicey. But the garbage taste of it made that pointless.

The restaurant is lacking ambiance and although the customer service wasn’t terrible, it definitely wasn’t anything special. Now, about the food … that was the worst part. I was interested in the variety of appetizers, especially the crab Rangoon. As I know this is generally a pre-made, frozen food - I was happy to see that it was described as “homemade” on the menu. Before ordering, I asked the server if it was actually homemade. She said yes. It was no surprise, when it came out, and was most definitely NOT homemade. In fact it was the worst crab Rangoon I’ve ever had because it was extremely sweet! It seemed like the sweetness profile could have been a dessert and it was oily, almost like it had a portion of mayo in the mix. The other appetizer that I ordered was the marinated tofu steam bun. It was equally bad because the tofu had no flavor except oil. It was clear that the slice of tofu had been tossed into the deep fryer and cooked to a crisp, yet it had no flavor. As a side note, there was no real silverware or dishes, they brought out paper plates and plastic ware to eat with. Maybe it’s part of the traditional Korean experience, but it seemed really cheap not to mention that it creates a ton of waste. The server also brought out the food in paperboats by hand, (not on a tray) but was not wearing any gloves. Definitely a turn off when you can see that their finger tips are wrapped around the food containers, and practically touching the food you are about to eat. Makes you wonder what’s going on in the kitchen too. Maybe their appetizers are an afterthought and I just picked the wrong items, but I won’t be coming back for a second try. Hopefully they can work on improvements.

The food was way overcooked at two way too much breading on it. made the calamari very dry. I was able to eat it without the breading. The chicken thigh appetizer was little bite-sized pizzas that were way overcooked and over breaded.

I got the shrimp tempura donburi and my husband got the tuna poke bowl and we got the crab rangoon. The crab rangoon had no crab, it tasted like a dessert with cream cheese only. The shrimp donburi had so much cream sauce I felt like I was eating Italian food, which I don't like (because of the cream sauces). My husband liked his poke bowl, which he thought was above average. He said it had a lot of tasty ingredients. However, overall, we are unlikely to return.

The food here was good not the best I've had in this genre of restaurant but very good. It came out extremely quick and the service was great. Definitely would recommend it for lunch and quick dinners

Soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly staff and took us to a table in the back. The place was pretty empty when we arrived however, most of the tables were dirty. The table that they set us was close to the bathroom, and it smelled! I don't what happened, but it smelled like urine. We moved our table close to the front windows to avoid the smell. Our server came and took our order. The food came out relatively quickly. We ordered the Wukong Mango Green Tea with Mango bubbles, the Soy Garlic Chicken Wings, and the Kar-Rage Donburi. All the food we had tasted good. Nothing stood out, everything was decent. I think for me the smell inside the restaurant kind of ruined the experience.

Food and service are very good. Ramen is solid, and Korean fried chicken is great. And the kids LOVE boba tea.

Unfortunately did not get to try the food. Took my mom here, as we live down the street. Walked inside and sat at the bar. There were zero other customers. Sat for 12 minutes while not a single person acknowledged us but would look at us and continue talking in the kitchen. Absolutely rude and left customers very disappointed. Also their menu is confusing as it lists two very different prices for the same food item, on the same menu (the one above the register). In general seemed overpriced. Will not be returning.

The milk tea was my favorite! The tonkotsu ramen was good, although the pork was pretty fatty. The soy glazed wings were crispy. Overall, service was great!

So yummy with so many options!! There hasn't been an asian restaurant quite like this in Westerville and it hits the mark. Usually have to travel down to Henderson or bethel to get this quality and authenticity of flavors. Good price too. Highly recommend
