“3-28-2024 Got the large appetizer pretzel and the fish and chips. The pretzel was really good and lasted us for days after. The F&C were ok, nothing special. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and the place had a great community feel. Can't argue with their motto: Eat Local.“

“After viewing the Total Solar Eclipse my wife, my mother and I stopped at Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill in a Lima Ohio for an early dinner. Let me tell you, the food and service was amazing. First we asked to get seated near an electrical outlet to charge our nearly dead phones, then we got a few delicious brews and an out-of-this-world raspberry cider from Cider Boys in WI. Ordered garlic knots and a pound of sweet & tangy Thai chicken "chunks". The knots were slathered in delicious garlic butter and were perfect soft bready goodness. The chunks were hefty bites of all white meat chicken and the Thai sauce was sweet, tangy, and just a bit spicy. Then we ordered a 14 inch thin & crispy crust pie with pepperoni, ham, bacon, green and red peppers. The crust was super crispy and the cheese pull was pretty amazing even though my first bite was nuclear! And the best part were the Monday specials. The drinks were $3 pints, the chicken chunks were only $10 (normally $15) and the pizza started at $14 +toppings (normally $20). Great location, atmosphere, & the building and decor are great. It's got a nice outdoor patio, a huge bar with fantastic neon signs all over the place, very clean restrooms too. If we're ever in Lima again this is definitely a contender for lunch or dinner.“

“The wings are great. Get 30 to go every year for the super bowl. Can't go wrong with all day breakfast. Gyros are huge and phenomenal and my daughter craves their chicken tortilla soup. Prices are very reasonable. Don't try to go just before closing they lock the door. My Anniversary is St Patrick's Day and we celebrate every year with a Jiggs dinner. “My husband and I tried this restaurant last friday for the first time tonight. It was not a good experience. The manager made it right and gave us a gift card to come give them another try. The 2nd time going was much better, quick service, the food tasted good too. So glad we had the opportunity to give them another shot.“

“I ordered the loaded gyro chicken chunks and they were delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the chunks were HUGE. The chicken was meaty, moist, and tender. The tzatziki sauce was really really good. I recommend ordering an extra sauce or two. The hot garlic parmesan sauce was perfect! Buttery, garlicky with a heat filled punch. Would 100% order again!“

“Ordered a Medium Specialty it had everything on it and man it was perfect. The calzone and greek salad my daughter order also perfect, like could have been on a menu picture perfect and delicious...BUT what was crazier was we ordered 30 min before close, picked it up 10 til close (I know I hate doing that to people, felt awful) but AMAZING staff, service, and food quality and quantity. “I truly love their chicken and get some every time I order. We got the deluxe pizza last night too but we were not impressed by it. The crust needed to cook longer , more sauce was needed and since the crust was too soft it couldn’t hold the toppings . I was also disappointed that I didn’t get the yummy garlic sauce and ranch was thrown in instead. We will continue to order what we know we like .“

“Me, my buddy, and my dad visited Beer Barrel while participating in the Maumee River Walleye Run. The food was excellent, consistent all weekend, and - Very well priced!!!!!! The service was 5/5, refills were completed consistently without needing to wave down a waitress. The beer was fresh and cold. The ambience and vibe are one of the best parts about the restaurant!! A Texas Roadhouse esque, Buffalo Wild Wings mix of ambience and comfort even on a packed out Saturday night!!!“

“Pizza was good and ready right on time. I ordered online and was disappointed that I was not contacted regarding the fact they were out of mushrooms for our combo pizza. I would have liked to have the opportunity to pick a substitute topping. I didn't know about this until they gave me the pizza. I asked if we might be able to get a discount on it, as I had already purchased an additional topping. They did tell us we would get one free next time as a compensation. This was a more than satisfactory resolution.“
