we have been coming here for years, today was not good. I ordered a rice bowl with cheese, meat and pineapple salsa, our daughter ordered just about the same thing. We both got 1 scoop of rice, 2 slivers, of meat, and I mean slivers. The rice was hard and very little pineapple salsa. Terrible.. Our bill was $68 and we didn't even have drinks, just soda and tea. Our waitress was very nice, but the girl that brought out our food was more worried about all the guys looking at her than what she was doing and forgot silverware. Kind of hard to eat a rice bowl with your fingers. I know the original owner passed away a few years ago but it's getting pretty bad now under this management. I don't think we will be back. very sad.

Havn't been there in a year, and surprise, they got worse. I've had tacos out of the refridgerator warmer than these. The last 2 times I've gone here, the tacos were absolutely terrible. Save yourself the time and money and go to taco bell instead.. or anywhere else.

The most laughably bad tacos I've ever had in my life. Seriously these aren't just bad for people who know good tacos. No one should ever have to experience these "tacos".On the good side it was nostalgic because I haven't used a plastic spork to eat sine elementary school.

A couple cold corn tortillas with 3-4 tiny shrimp, and a salad dressing sized container of "cauliflower rice" on the side for $5.50; and the bar tender walked past us so many times without even looking our way it took way too long to order a couple tacos, I gave up on ordering a drink. Don't be fooled by the copiously full and delicious looking tacos on the website. That's not what you're getting. I'm not sure why my taco was wrapped in tin foil, it wasn't to preserve warmth or even flavor. Go elsewhere if you're hungry. Otherwise just get hammered.

Barrio's offers amazing vegan/vegetarian options. I love being able to build my own food! Service is always pretty speedy. We did go one time with 5 people and we were sat at one square table, which was a bit crowded and we had to put the paper towels/menus on the floor. I'm still confused why they didn't push two tables together lol. Other than that not much to say!

We were scrolling DTW looking for food late (after 10 pm) on my birthday. The kitchen was still open & it wasn’t crazy busy being a Tuesday night & 2 days after St. Patrick’s day.I have an allergy to onion oil that is either not taken seriously enough or taken too seriously to the point I’m not allowed to order. The bartender & the chef were very attentive with suggestions. We came up with a winning combination. Both my girlfriend & I thought they were the best tacos we have ever had. Plus the bartender told us she likes to mix & match the margarita flavors. She made us both pear & pomegranate margaritas & they were incredible too.Everything down to the salsa was extremely flavorful & full of the perfect blend of spices.Definitely a destination restaurant when we are in town! There are many more combinations we want to try. Lots of options even with my allergy! Thank you for the awesome bartender & chef!Dietary restrictions: The chef & waitress/bartender will work with unique food allergies.

Getting a little bit more disappointed with each visit.Some times the special taco ar pretty good. But I found places where the tacos are another level above. Once you have that it's harder to go back.Last time there on a slow day drinks came out after the food.and....Last few times time they serve me cocktails missing half the garnishments If not all of them. As if it didn't matter.If you're out of something let me know before you make the drink I'll probably change my mind and get something else. There's a lot more respect to that.Let happen a few times but the last time I just told them to keep the drink..Sadly I noticed the handful of places are trying to do cocktails now. They want to charge a lot and not do it right. But there are handful of places that make them pretty good consistently

Great place anyone should go there love the downtown location as well! Only reservation is some of the older crew are JUST THERE to supplement income as they finish up college The younger ones, the newer ones, are just more focused and customer Savoy. Of course there are exceptions but the ones in college are simply BRAT'
