Hair in my food. I'm sure it was intentional. I'm a person of color. I don't understand racism in a Hispanic restaurant. Make it make sense??

Hit or miss on the food here. I’ve gone and had the best burger I’ve ever eaten, gone a week later and had to send it back twice for being way way over done. Real bright spot here are the drinks, and the bartenders. Great place to go in the summer with converted screened in bar and large out door seating area in the back.

I ordered online, they called right back and said that it would be an hour wait ?. I got there and hr later and still had to wait. My food was pretty good (sol burger and truffle fries). My boyfriend hated his food (some sort of steak wrap). Also took quite awhile for someone to acknowledge me at the desk.

Service! ............... Service, Service, Service!!! It can make or break a good dinner and a nice time out. OK, we were undecided what to have, but then again the things we did order, they were out of - also very bad! Yet our waitress did not make us feel welcome or that we deserve to be there to enjoy a nice time. Getting her to our table was one feat and the second was having her give us the time long enough for her to answer our questions or to order anything. Her last sentence to us was always while she walked away from our table and at least a full table away from us. Sol hooked me with their email invitation and the menu they were serving. I signed up to take my wife out for a nice dinner. The two appetizers we ordered first Sol ran out of. Although my steak Diane was good, it was sooo covered in their mashed potatoes and mushroom cream sauce I couldn't find the steak to cut it and eat it. It would have been better to have them (or most of them) on the side. Because of all the above we had no desire to stay for dessert or another drink. Plus, their beer selection is very short sighted.

Okay. Let’s start with the drinks. The cocktails are to die for. All hand made and really top notch. The food has an obvious attention to detail. Even something as simple as the salsa and chips is made with nice salty root vegetable chips that elevate it from plane old corn chips. The vegan tacos were spectacular. Who makes good vegan tacos? Great live music. What I think I liked most was the menu. Just not the same old boring stuff that’s everywhere you find today at beer joints and chain restaurants. And the upscale atmosphere really pushed me to the five star review.Vegetarian options: Not alot of vegetarian but enough to make my cow hugging wife happy. And vegan quality was very high. Not just a piece of broccoli or salad.

Nice, large restaurant for Mexican and Mexican American fusion food. I have been for brunch and dinner and enjoyed both. I normally go the taco direction but have tried the burrito as well. All the food and drink has been pretty solid. Prices are decent, but entrees are a bit expensive. There are 2 bars, lots of tables, and some outdoor seating as well. Service is normally pretty good, maybe a little slow, but not bad. Atmosphere is pretty cool, like the decor. If you are wanting to watch a game during your meal...didnt see too many TVs around.I am sure I will be back.

The Carne asada power bowl for brunch was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. I also had a Vanilla Latte, which I would not recommend for $7. It was not horrible but just tasted like slightly older coffee with some vanilla flavoring. There was a band on the other side which wasn't too loud and pleasant while being able to still hold a conversation.

Food was very good and arrived quickly, actually our entrees arrived before our appetizers. We only saw our waitress twice, once when taking our orders and then when she brought the bill. Several empty tables around us so it didn't appear she was otherwise busy.

Went for Sunday brunch. We were seated near the live music which was so load it made conversation almost impossible. Service was ok, but the food was unremarkable. Breakfast potatoes were dried out, barely warm and tasted like they had been cooked the day before. We also noticed the drinks are smaller in size and just not worth the money, especially the Mules.

Almost all of us had something wrong with our order. I had to ask for a separate poached egg after mine on my avocado toast was firmly cooked similar to hard boiled. (??) My husband asked for bacon as his side and got sausage instead... the list goes on. Took a long time for the food to come out too. I like the place in general but we invited friends to join us this time and THAT was the first impression they got. :(

Sol is one of the best brunch spots in Willoughby! Their cerveza con queso hash is SO good. The service is usually pretty quick and the atmosphere is great. There's occasional live music which is an added bonus.
