“The lady that approached me had a very nasty attitude (the host).. But the guy that bring me my food was pleasant.. food was VERY good even tho I didn’t have cheese on my beans like I normally do but u couldn’t even tell food was great. I had got the carnitas so so so gooooooood!!”

“This was s great find! We arrived 15 min before closing and got our food to go. The aroma on the way to our destination was amazing. The pork ribs were smoked so well, I forgot to add the bbq sauce..but when I did it was yummy too! The hush puppies (a bit underdone) had great flavor as did the cole slaw. My partner dug into his beef brisket, green beans and fries. We enjoyed lunch portions for dinner. Even after a day of hiking this was plenty of food! We will be back. Enjoyed meeting the owner who clearly loves this business and their customers. Next time we are close-ish by, we will be back!”

“This was my first time trying Gold Star, and it made for a solid meal after a long day. I had the super sized 5-way chili and it really hit the spot. The service was good even though it was towards the end of the evening, and the restaurant was clean. The chili itself didn’t skimp on toppings or flavor. I’ll have to try some of the other items next time.”

“I ordered penne with Parma Rosa sauce and a meatball. Everything was delicious. The side salad that came with the food was literally lattuce with salsa on it! I’ve never seen that before in my life. Not sure if that is how they make a salad but it definitely isn’t a salad. Again pasta was great oh and I also got 1 piece of carrot cake, while it was decent it was definitely not worth $9 Overall I would go back but would skip the salad and cake. Staff was very nice and friendly.”

“Wheelchair accessibility: Dad has a bug man scooter and plenty of room for maneuverability. I got the buffalo chicken sub and it was good. Could use a little more buffalo sauce but it was good.”

“Spent 2 weeks out of town staying at a hotel one traffic light away… and Kairos coffee was recommended to me by some lovely ladies I had the pleasure of working with.Iced caramel rapture with oat milk & a shot of espresso was my go-to!!! What I loved is it was consistent everyday… no matter the barista. I probably visited here at-least 5-6 times within my 12 day visit. The young women are super kind and provided great service. I was able to spend 3+ hours inside during my first visit, catching up on laptop work and other mornings the drive thru service was super convenient!Great local coffee spot, check them out!Dietary restrictions: Dairy free options available”

“Cute spot with good selection of beers and ciders (on tap!). We enjoyed the upstairs seating area, and all the board games in that seating area. Lots of outdoor seating.Menu is somewhat limited, but has good “bar basics.” I had the pretzels, which were delicious.Music not too loud- another bonus. Service was friendly. (No table service- we ordered at the bar in the front area).Note: There is a small parking lot in the back.”

“The sandwiches were wonderful (Club Sandwich was immense / Double BLT was excellent- and an order of Onion Rings). My wife and I love local places like this that are not a chain restaurant. We went on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was crowded, which is always a good sign. The service was terrific. We brought half of our order home with us and we look forward to going back. The restaurant is about an hour away from where we live in the Cincinnati area.”

“I go to this grill at least once a month while traveling to Wilmington, Ohio. The place is old and great for the area construction workers. The burgers are very good. They make them just the way I like them.”

“I’m from out of town and stopped by to watch the Browns - Steelers game this past week. Love the atmosphere at this bar. The owner was aiming for an NYC neighborhood kind of place, and I think he did a good job recreating that feel. Our bartender—she was friendly, professional, and knew all the regulars. It was like Cheers! Overall, a nice evening.”

“Good little "hole in the wall" Chinese food place in Wilmington. The food was really good and I walked in to order and had my to go bag in less than 10 minutes. Plenty of food as well.”

“Chose this place at random after looking in the area for somewhere to grab something to eat, definitely a locals, hang out to catch a drink and watch a game. I found the food to be a good quality and taste, price was cheap, I sat and had three drinks with my dinner, while I watched the game and walked away with a bill that made me happy.the staff all seem to work well together as they were all busy running back-and-forth between the kitchen and bar helping each other out. Interacted with some of the locals and that was all very pleasant and enjoyable. I will definitely keep this place in mind when working in this area again.”

“The General Denver is such an iconic restaurant in Wilmington and the staff, quality of food and drinks, and overall restaurant scene is top notch. You can tell the servers and bartenders take pride in this establishment. The stellar menu, 3 different bar areas, and outdoor scene with live music make it a place we'll be taking the kids to this summer!”

“I don’t go here a lot but every experience I’ve had has been good. I can’t comment on atmosphere bc I go through drive through. Sometimes the wait is longer than normal but they make most food to order so it’s understandable. LOVE there onion rings”
