Stopped in for lunch. Great service! Cheese steak was fantastic. The bun was so fresh! The French fries were crispy and hot. Everything was delicious, I’ll be back! The manager checked in to see that everything was good
Stopped in just to see what they were about and unfortunately it is the worst service I've ever had in my entire life..there was some older blonde chicken who was SO RUDE and did nothing but wine and complain about her boss the bathrooms were disgusting in the tables had crud on them definitely will never go there again they were completely slow and only had one other table and it took 35 minutes just to get mozzarella sticks the floors were disgusting in the bar add skin marks on it I would never go there again

Stopped after a moving job to eat. And I have to say I love it here. It's relaxing and the people are friendly. I highly recommend that you stop on by. The pizza is to die for.

I would love to give this place a 4 or 5 star for the food, but the management of the restaurant was completely disrespectful to amiush and their faith. As a group of amuish women were leaving, over the sound system they played a death metal song (drownding pool song, if you know, you know which song) louder than any other songs that have been playing. I had to get my child's attention 100% of the time so she did not hear the songs lyrics. After the women left, they then started to insult the women and their faith opening. It is completely disrespectful to say this openly that everyone in the restaurant can hear. I get people get frustrated, this was a completely and disrespectful wrong way to show your frustration.

We took a chance. Based off previous reviews we were skeptical but so glad we went. If you’re looking for a place for a good French Dip or Panini and fries or a good local craft brew on tap - here’s your place. They have a nice selection of alcoholic beverages. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We were served promptly and had zero complaints. We would come back if we wanted to find a spot in Wooster to watch a Browns game
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a nice ramp for anyone needing it.

Lowkey and underrated.Hats off to the hospitable and friendly staff. Perfect place to chill chat and drink. Atmosphere and customers are welcoming as expected for a family friendly local bar. Love it here. Food wise you really can't go wrong, it's all good. Just wish they would prepare some items a little less greasy, and maybe depends on who's cooking that day. So in a nutshell food quality inconsistent, but you can expect a good experience here. They are sometimes under-staffed depending on the time of day. Despite these flaws it's still a great place. Friendly people always stopping in.

This place is a constant disappointment. We’ve come for several different occasions and they haven’t got it right once. Food is often cold in the middle after taking FOREVER. The manager is the rudest fellow we’ve ever met. Shots will not be served if someone is there with their kid. Mixed drinks are garbage because the bartenders have never had any kind of training. If you are there with a group of people, you can forget ordering from the bar. They will tell you to wait on your server who you will wait on for over an hour. The bartenders drink behind the bar. They keep the music turned down so low you can’t hear the songs you’re paying to play. If you come on a busy night, they only serve half the menu. We brought in a large party (which is the most business they’ve had in a very long time) and they chased us off to a different bar. Absolutely embarrassing way of running a business.

What a huge disappointment! This place is no where CLOSE to what the Dirty Olive was. We've given chance after chance and it only gets worse and more bizarre! I truly don't recommend this to ANYONE! Save yourself and your family and friends the trouble.

Pretty sure the manager is bipolar, we had a party of 20 or so there and he wouldn’t serve us shots because kids were in the building. My grandma was told she wasn’t allowed to get a pop at the bar and to go wait at our table until our server came back (no one was checking on us). Another guy in our party was told he wasn’t allowed at the bar and to go back to our table. They turned the browns game off of the tv so we couldn’t watch it by the bar even after asking them to turn it on by our table.

I’m typically slow to anger when it comes to treatment at a restaurant. You never know if someone is having a rough day or having problems at home, but the experience today was unacceptable. For some reason a gentleman who worked there (I believe he was the manager but was working in the kitchen) had it out for us. I was there alongside 20-30 people celebrating a birthday and things got weird off the bat. When we arrived we were told to wait in the party area to be waited on instead of going up to the bar for our drink. Normally it’s not a big deal and would understand, however staff only approached about every 20-25 minutes taking orders. On top of this, an 80 year old lady who was not drinking wanted another water and didn’t want to wait. She went up to the bar, politely asked if she could have a refill, and was rudely told to wait at the table. Later in the afternoon, presents were opened and the man who the party was got an unopened bottle of liquor. Soon after, the manager yelled at us for having the bottle in the bar because it was illegal. While I am not 100% sure if this is true, instead of yelling, he could have politely and calmly asked us to take the bottle of liquor outside. Finally, several people of the party wanted to do a shot to celebrate, however the manager told use we cannot because of the children inside the bar. This to me makes no sense whatsoever because alcohol already surrounded the children. If we were at a restaurant like Applebee’s or Buffalo Wild Wings, which frequently have children, we could have gotten the shots. Again, I don’t know if it was just a bad day or something else was wrong, but that doesn’t give the manger the right to treat other like that.

Honestly if I could give this place 0 stars I would. Although our food was good, this place is trash, and it’s all because of the management running it. Hopefully the owners take this whole scenario into consideration and let some staff go.First of all, we came in at 3pm for a birthday party that was super low key (literally for someone turning 60), everyone from our party was being respectful and quiet, no one was rowdy or anything like that. The cook, who also referred to him self as the “manager” was super disrespectful towards everyone upon arrival, to the point we ended up having to pack up our party and go to another venue in less than 2 hours of being there due to the amount of disrespect shown by staff.List of issues that happened:1) They told my 80 year old grandmother that she was to go sit back down with our party and we were not allowed to order drinks from the bar. Mind you she had waited over 15 minutes to see one of the “waitresses” to ask for a refill on her water…. You read that correct a WATER…2) I had my 2 year old and 8 year with me , as this was for their grandpa and remind you it’s only 3pm. My son (2) had tripped and fell which is pretty common for his age and no big deal and the manager stormed up to us and stated gruntled “just so you know kids aren’t allowed after 8pm”, to which I replied that’s fine we won’t be that late and reminded him it was only 3pm.3) A friend of the family wanted to order a round of shots for each of the ADULTS to do a celebration cheer for my father turning 60, pretty typical right…. The “MANAGER” flat out refused our entire party to order any shots due to the fact “there were children present”, it’s not like my 2 year old and 2 other 8 year olds were going to do a shot of crown with us.4) My father had received a bottle of Bourbon as a gift which was sitting on the table, and the “manager” walked by and proceeded to go off on my brother yelling at him saying to “get out, that the (unopened) bottle of bourbon sitting on the table was illegal”.5) Upon the party being fed up with the constant attacks from the “Manager”, we decided to cash out to leave the facility. The Browns game was playing on the screen to which a family friend had made a cheer (which mind you was awfully quiet) to which the manager again snapped and said “absolutely not”. My family friend replied “oh sorry, we can’t do that?… I mean it’s a bar”, and then I admit I got very fed up and began to yell at the “cook a.k.a manager” and stated “Oh cause we can’t make any noise in a bar, why don’t you learn how to properly manage a bar?”.Now mind you the waitress we felt bad for, as they were training nor was the disrespect coming from them. But honestly this tool bag in the back needs knocked off his high horse and fired. We will never be back and they probably lost $400-$500 in sales for the rest of the evening upon my parties departure. We will also be recommending that no one go here. Good luck with the business! ??

Edit: I have been blocked, but this was a Facebook review for 31 Bistro in Wooster,OH!!!! Edit #2: I have spoken with management and am happy to hear this incident is being reviewed and the owners have been notified. Also, I have been unblocked from their Facebook page now. Thanks to all who reached out with stories and sharing, because management would have never known there was issues without us all saying something. Never be afraid to speak up about someone or somewhere being a negative environment in our community. As they always say: if you see something, say something. Honestly if I could give this place 0 stars I would. Although our food was good, this place is trash, and it’s all because of the management running it. The place was empty. We sat at a booth. We were not greeted when we came on. I had to ask if we just seat ourselves. Our server was very nice. The bartender through the f word around quite a few times. There's a time and place for that language and in the middle of a business is not it. The food was pretty good.
