Patio drinking in Worthington is made possible thanks to PG. I prefer dive bars, but enjoy the selection. I’m sure it gets weird late, but the happy hour is decent. If I’m going to a bar on High St. between 161 and Wilson Bridge Rd., that’s my spot.Kid-friendliness: There’s no menu to color with crayons, but there’s a pinball machine. Root beer is a great option.
The Porch Growler is a great spot! So many beers on tap, friendly bartenders, and a great place to hang. They have some board games, a nice small little patio spot, tv's around, bottled beers to buy, and you can obviously get growler fills from the bar as well. It's one of my favorite beer bars that holds over 50 different beers from all over. They don't have food but do have a partnership with the pizza shop across the street and occasionally will have food trucks. The beertenders are top tier and gives you Cheers (where everybody knows your name) vibes when you enter the door!
