This was my first time dining in with my father and my niece. So we got there around 3 pm. A guy at the door told us we could seat ourselves. The table was dirty, visible crumbs on the table and the seat. The menus were dirty. One of the pages had a sticky red substance all over it like syrup, which is alarming during COVID times. It's clear that the menus do not get cleaned regularly they should be cleaned after each use. So then we put in our order for our appetizers, a few minutes later the waitress came back to tell us the appetizers we ordered were all 86'd. So we picked spinach dip. Then we ordered our entrees. A few minutes later the waitress came back to let us know that the Lasagna (what my father ordered) had also been 86'd. So instead of offering other options for him, she says " I don't blame you guys if you want to walk out right now." But not in a sincere way, she said it in a way insinuating that they don't get many customers and it made us feel not welcomed. Our food was good dinner rolls were good, but I used to work in a restaurant. I don't know any manager who would be ok with an employee telling customers to walk out and go somewhere else. Ultimately management should be held accountable. They need better training for staff to improve customer experiences, and cleanliness is definitely an issue. Most likely will not return to dine in, which sucked because I love Antone's salads since I was little. The overall experience was disappointing.

Wouldn’t even give them one star, but had no choice. This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had when ordering takeout! The service at the takeout counter was horrendous and the food was outright disgusting. Both cavatelli meals were missing the salads and rolls (the whole reason I didn’t order just the pasta). The meatballs were clearly frozen and inedible. The different meatballs they use in the meatball splash were out right raw! This is the last penny I will ever spend at Chad Anthony’s. The service and quality here have done down hill!

I tried Chad Anthony's for the first time sometime last year and couldn't stop craving the veal afterwards! This is one of the only places that has it on the menu around this area and the sauce is phenomenal, or at least it was. I'm assuming the quality of the food has degraded just as much as the service. I've been trying to go back for months now but they're terribly understaffed from what I can observe. Last time my husband and I walked in to be seated, we waited at least 5 minutes just to be ignored by the few employees they had working that night. We couldn't even get one of them to tell us how long of a wait there would be or even an acknowledgement that they would be with us momentarily... how rude! So after 10 minutes, we just walked out. I called last week again and actually got through (it's a miracle!) to check on wait times since we couldn't order online or reserve a table and the lady was nice but told us an hour plus for both dine-in AND carry-out!! Then this past weekend still couldn't get through the phone lines so we gave up and tried Station Square down the road. From my restaurant experience, I think this place is overwhelmed and probably not paying enough to attract ample employees or they wouldn't have so many problems. Management needs to look at making some major changes.

Wy too slow! Stopped here for lunch with an hour to spend. Even told the waitress we were on the clock so we ordered efficiently. With only 10 minutes left in our hour there was still no sign of the food and I had to go find the waitress and ask for our food in boxes to go. So much for our nice little lunch hour?

Came in and it was fairly empty. Took half an hour for us to get our order taken after we sat down.. We didn’t get our food until over an hour of being there, (people who arrived after us got their food and we’re even asking for their checks). Once our food came, half the order was wrong and when we asked for our check to just leave our waiter, which was rude and disrespectful from the start, threw an attitude and to top it off dropped grease over my 2 year old son when taking our food back. The restaurant’s solution was to have the food that were made wrong be taken off the bill… We’ve been loyal customers and have went here regularly. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK! And will surely let our friends and family and everyone be aware of our experience!

The bar area is for regulars only. I thought I'd stop for a quick bite and a beer. I stood at the bar for 10 minutes and couldn't get service. The bar tender would drop her head or look away when I'd try to get her attention. So, I went to the other end of the bar, and asked if I could get a beer. The lady tells me, "oh yeah, the bar tender will get you something ". So after standing there for a few more minutes, and watching the a other extremely drunk bar tender walk by, I gave up and left. I'll never go back.

I had fettuccine Alfredo that was on the higher end of a rating but not as excellent as Olive Garden. I recommend Olive Garden if you want Alfredo. However my godson wanted buffalo chicken pizza which was not on the menu and they made it special for him- this was one of not the best buffalo chicken pizza I have eaten and I eat a lot between my son husband and godson. Excellent buffalo chicken made by request!Price was fair averaged out to $10 person for dinner. Broccoli soup was excellent! Pizza excellent! Alfredo pasta average, marinara was not good, my son sent his fish back and asked for alfredo after trying a bite of red sauce.I was upset the buffet was shut off and sitting unavailable but advertised to be open- sad I did not get to try the buffet.I would give the 5 stars on price and food but service was definitely in need of an upgrade. The restaurant seemed understaffed for the evening resulting in dirty dishes not being removed and dessert ate on dirty dinner dishes which I am not a fan of clutter.

I ordered the Flatbread Meat Lovers Pizza. First, the service was great. She took my order fast and was very friendly. The pizza was fresh and it was good, but I wasn’t a fan of the sauce. It reminded me of a meat sauce you would normally have with Spaghetti. It was ok, I just would rather have sauce without meat in it. Also, I was expecting to have more meat toppings with a Meat Lovers Pizza. Overall, it was good and I would try other pizza options there.

They were really busy the day we went... hosted came out and sat us right away.... then came out and said the kitchen was really backed up so might be a bit of a wait.... we were fine with it and it really wasn't so much of a wait once our server came to the table... not sure why you would tell people that unless you wanted them to leave

Yes, the food is so good it raises Service and atmosphere to an overall 5 stars.Sunday afternoon post-concert dinner. CA's was busy but not crowded. Service was almost too fast. The appetizer came before I was half thru a salad. And the entrees came before we were into the appetizer. But the food was excellent. I had the Kitchen Sink and it was superb and in a huge portion. My companion's salad was even bigger. We didn't even touch the hot dinner rolls. The Onion Loaf was the only disappointment. Deep fried small bits of onion, it was not a loaf and the ranch dressing was watery and didn't cling to the onion at all. My companion ended up sprinkling them on her salad. But at the end of the day, it is all about the food and the entrees were great.

I really don't have alot of positive things to say about this review other than the service was good as far as the food the definitely took a back seat I started with the fried cheese a decent pull on the cheese sauce needed some added flavor elements. Moving on to the mamma's stuffed meatballs I was not impressed lacking in that Italian taste you expect in a meatball it just tasted like bland meat. Now to the main course I got two dishes first the kitchen sink this wasn't too bad but the noodles were overcooked and my second dish was loaded chicken parm same problem different dish plus my chicken was on thin thin and dry and was buried under the noodles and sauce that's just weird all and all I dont think I'll be back

Went there tonight as we always do sat down 6 people not a waitress for 20 minutes. Never have i been treated this bad anywhere. Always loved this place but tonight ended up at station square. We do this every Thursday spend a few hundred so we expect good service and usually get it. So sad for chads

Hey Youngstowners and travelers, you have one great place for fresh-cut steaks anyway you enjoy them. I enjoyed a fabulous, juicy Ribeye steak done Italian style- just marvelous! Yes, the price was very little with a fine salad and homemade pasta. Bon Appettito! Df
