Stopped in to this restaurant on a whim. It was, hands down, the best restaurant service in years. Judy was an amazing waitress, she was so attentive and knowledgeable. She really cares about the restaurant. The food was amazing, we got the baked cod dinner. It was so much food we left over stuffed. The Scooner beers were also perfect. The ambiance feels like a step back in time. Its old school, but it every perfect way. Highly recommend!!

The Golden Dawn on Youngstown’s North side is a true bucket list place to visit & eat. The Dawn is a staple of Youngstown restaurants, family owned and operated since the 1960’s. My Grandfather brought me here as a child & I have continued to dine here for 50 years. The walls are adorned with the local Youngstown high school & college memorial. Your seating options are at the bar/bar stool, table or booth. The staff here were the “uniform” of white button down shirt, black tie & apron. They are always wonderfully friendly & welcoming. They always check on you as you dine. Your coffee or beverage will always be topped off and anything you need, just ask, they will get it for you with a smile. They have a proper breakfast menu, classic comfort food for sure. The lunch menu is equally awesome. Looking for a good fish dinner on Friday?? Look no farther! The bar at the Dawn is fully stocked with classic beers & liquors. You can still get a scooner of beer here!! There are a few TV’s, so you can definitely enjoy the game there. I absolutely love the Golden Dawn, I promise that you will too.

Best Italian food in Youngstown! The freshness and quality of the food is incredible. The wait staff are super friendly (a special shout out to Will). You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but my favorites are the Italian egg rolls, spaghetti and meatballs, and the pizza!

I was there Friday night to listen to Kevin Lawson, the music was excellent, the place was packed, the food was good, the only thing that bothered me was the price, I understand why they jacked the prices up, $50.00 for two is a bit high, but the evening was great. Will be back for sure.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience last night. Our food was delicious the establishment was very crowded and the entertainment was spectacular Kudos to the staff for our experience. We highly recommend you check this restaurant out. The chef is outstanding, he had a full house and people seemed to get their orders with no problems. One of oldest establishments in area and still giving great experiences

Hadn't been here in awhile. My mom and I stopped in for a late lunch the one day. The food was delicious and came out quickly. The staff was friendly and attentive. Prices are what you expect from a dine in restaurant. We got fish that day but I'll definitely be going back for the chicken parm and pasta. You definitely want to stop by for some delicious cuisine.
