A Youngstown hidden gem! Once they are sold out, that's it! Make sure you get there early! Our favorite is the brick, don't forget a side of sauce to dip it in!

Everything is wonderful there except I thought their sauce tasted like it came straight out of a can. Their pastries are to die for, and their food is top notch. Highly recommend.

We ordered tiramisu for Christmas Eve dinner and it was a big hit with the family. I've been there several times now, and have enjoyed our food every time.

I've been in the hospital with food poisoning for 2 days after eating the cooked GREENS with SAUSAGE! I do not wish this agony on no one. STAY AWAY!

I was not expecting to find Jersey level integrity at an Italian Deli in Ohio. Bravo! What do I mean by this? Well, on my first visit to Jimmy's, hanging right on the front door was a very good sign. Actually, it was a sad sign that announced escarole was not available at the moment, and Jimmy's was compelled to use frozen chopped spinach for their famous greens. 1) That's some incredible transparency right there. Did I say "Bravo!" because, Bravo!2) It show's that Jimmy's understands this is a serious enough issue for its clientele to post the information before you even enter the doors. Salud! But I came here as a pit stop on a road trip, and I would not be deterred. I strolled up to the sandwich counter, and got the pollo diavolo brick, and asked them to add some of those greens into the mix. Even with frozen chopped spinach, that extra 50 cents was money well spent. Bellissimo! My travel companion got the meatball sub and was very happy. We haven't found meatballs like this in the midwest. They may not have been Providence level meatballs, but that's a very high bar indeed. It happened to be an unseasonably warm day, so we took our sandwiches and sat in the sun on a stone bench by the parking lot. The outdoor dining patio was sensibly closed for the season. After the sandwich, we were compelled to venture back inside to check out the pastry case. The lobster tail was properly enormous, and could have easily been split by a family of four. What I already know for sure is that is going to be a regular spot for us when driving across Ohio, and I look forward to many happy returns.

Jimmy's is a staple in our area for a fresh and tasty lunch! They have a wide variety of sandwiches, pizzas, salads, hot foods and dessert! My go to sandwiches are the Italian Deluxe or Chicken and Greens brick, always with Jimmy's homemade Italian hots, they are delicious! They also have a deli with a wide variety of imported meats and cheese, an array of frozen pastas and ingredients, several sides and dry pastas. They are a must visit wether you need to eat or buy quality ingredients to cook at home!

I love the cannolis. I've had a sandwich once and it was good but I mostly come for pastries. I never leave disappointed. They also have imported Italian stuff.

Well, what can you say about a food shop. Number 1. Don't but the bread. I tried a small loaf of Italian and it was stale. Number 2. I think the meatballs had to be at least 50% bread because they were not tender, they bounced back when attempting to cut them snd they were tasteless. Number 3. Now I've been buying chestnuts for years and have eaten them since I was a kid with my father and I know a fresh chestnut. When you buy "fresh" Chestnuts they are firm, sweet and crunchy when you bite them. I eat mine raw so if they are old, I'm gonna know it. I cracked three of the chestnuts I got and they were all hard as a rock so I went into the store to return them. I've never had anyone act so rude in my life. He (I'm not mentioning names) insisted they were fresh. He stood at the register telling me that you'll get a few bad ones and started cracking chestnuts out of my bag. The first one was bad so he cracked another one that was soft and flexible like rubber. . Chestnuts, when fresh are NOT rubbery but I could see there was no way this guy was going to admit that his product was sub standard and then he says "go grab another handful if you like" so me, thinking of my squirrels, did, because I don't eat stale chestnuts. Sad, very sad that Frank would rather loose a customer over $9.00. In complaining to a friend I find out she doesn't go there either because their cookies are stale too. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Amazing service and food. Always visit Jimmy's when I'm in town for their meatballs, cannolis, and kolache. They have a large selection of frozen meatballs, pasta, and fresh deli meats and cheeses. A must stop for Italian fans.
