The idea of this place is awesome, German themed everything! The food was great, especially the Kraut Balls, but they were out of quite a few dishes and toppings. The polka music on a loop could be changed too but I do recommend trying this place out. Like I said, they have great food and the staff are very nice. They even have axe throwing which is awesome!

I welcome places like this to our community... Went for a quick lunch... Service and atmosphere was excellent... Looking forward to my return visit...

Giving it two stars because the ambience is decent. I certainly wouldn't eat here again though. Service is very slow and the food is below average. The "beer cheese" came out hard and clumpy and the spaetzle was inedible.

Just like an old beer garden, only cleaner. Foods great!!!

This place is awful. Service is bad Food never comes - we waited over an hour Always excuses Friends of ours had a server who was rude and wrote in his own tip after they left. Manager won't call them back to address it. This place is terribly bad. It's a shame to hear such consistent bad feedback. I've been here twice - I won't be back again. Hopefully there aren't others with such extreme circumstances, but after my experiences here it should be made known.

Happened upon this place in August when walking by and they had traditional German dancers and music. Brought my mom back and we had a blast. Good vibes and good music. We plan to come whenever we are in Youngstown!

We went with a group for the first time last night. We were anticipating a great experience but were sadly disappointed. The service was absolutely horrible & seemed disorganized. We had planned on ax throwing & dinner. We did enjoy the ax throwing but our appetizers took an hour to be served so we didnt even order dinner. And they were out of pretzels! Whats a german restaurant without pretzels!? A member of our party was there a week prior & said they were out of pretzels then too. Really wanted to like this place but was sadly disapointed. And the restrooms were out of toilet paper. Was reported several times but no one seemed to want to do anything about it. This place could be so much better but at this point dont think we will be back.

Run far away from this place. I've tried this place for the last time. After having a terrible service experience with family I was reluctant when my co-workers wanted to schedule dinner here for a holiday party, but they thought it would be fun with the axe throwing and big tables for us all to sit at. I messaged the restaurant telling them I was hesitant to schedule, was guaranteed a good experience and booked a reservation for 20. When the first few people arrived, there was no reservation. They actually kicked a group out of a table to accommodate us. They took half the tables order, never came back, and 90minutes later we still didn't have our appetizers- which were pretzels. Not once did someone come over to us and explain the wait. Finally I said something to them, as the crew I was with was happy to have drinks but we were getting hungry. If it took 90 minutes for apps, how long would it take for dinner?! Especially when half didn't order yet. When I said something they offered to comp the whole meal. That wasn't enough in my eyes. How do you manages a place, promise someone a good experience and then fall SO short?! There are no words. I will no longer patronize this restaurant or any owned by this owner ever again. They are always short staffed- always- from every experience I've ever had there. Save your time and energy and go to a restaurant downtown that actually cares about its customers.

Poor beer selection, marginal food, and terrible acoustics. Not impressed with anything about the place. Most of the tables seemed to have not been cleaned for awhile.

This place is an absolute blast. The staff was hilarious and very accommodating. I took my lady friend on a date and wanted something different, and they delivered. Food was out of Thai world good, and fair prices . We did a half hour of axe throwing and it was so fun. It was one of the better dates we’ve been on. Thank you guys for all the knowledge of the cuisine, and all the laughs. Will absolutely be back very soon.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. A lot of time went into the design, so I appreciate that. Our waiter was great, and I also enjoyed his dry sense of humor. His appetizer recommendation was spot on. We tried the sauerkraut balls, which are mixed with cream cheese, fried, and drizzled with a sweet stone ground mustard. Perfection. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the fact that my chicken was undercooked. The ends were perfect, but once I started cutting to the middle, I could see that it was still partially raw.

Mikel has to be the best bartender EVER!! He offered my girlfriend the French Ruby 75 and she absolutely loved it! He was also able to recommend the best beer for me. The food was awesome! The atmosphere was great- and we got to throw axes! Best night I've had with my girlfriend in a long time! Will definitely be back soo!
