It was good but it seemed like some rolls didn't have crab , I ordered the Sawa roll and Youngstown roll . I would order again , size of the rolls are great !

We had a terrible experience tonight at Sawa. A 2 hour wait for our food, several other tables received food before we did. Then when we complained (after 2 hours) we were offered a measly 10% off our bill. Terrible and won’t be going there again.

I never leave reviews. Hands down terrible food today for lunch, I can't wait to go home & rinse my mouth, that's how much pepper was on my hibachi. I feel like I've given them multiple chances and this was my last...Also We had 2 kids with us and they didn't even have any music on or atmosphere the entire restaurant could hear us talking.

My husband and I just attempted to go here for dinner. After waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes without being told a time frame, we were then seated. However, we were not told that there were 4 hibachi tables ahead of us with only 2 chefs working.. but there would of been AT LEAST another 45 minute wait until a chef even came over to begin cooking our food. Absolutely insane. At least have the decency to tell your guests how long the approximate wait is beforehand. Cannot comment on food quality because we left and went to Buffalo Wild Wings (in which we were waited on in 5 seconds) but restaurant is extremely outdated, service is obviously very slow, absolutely will not go back.

Honestly, I am a bit shocked about the low ratings. I came here for my second birthday dinner celebration while we took a staycation in Youngstown, and I loved the whole experience. From missing our reservations and calling over the phone, they immediately accommodated the change to the final goodbye leaving. It was such a satisfying and tasty meal. We ordered a few of the sushi and sashimi options and swordfish hibachi (me), and filet and scallops (my partner). The chef was so engaging, funny, and skilled he did new things I hadn't yet seen after many hibachi restaurants. The food had a fantastic freshness, flavor. Honestly, you could tell it was cooked with love and precision. The hibachi was enormous servings, and most we took to go with us after sampling everything. The tables, restaurant, and restrooms were immaculate, and all COVID-19 protocols were followed. I had a wonderful experience and would go back.

When we first arrived, we debated whether we should stay or not as it took quite a while for the host to stop playing on his phone and acknowledge us. His attitude when he did finally seat us left a lot to be desired. But the server and chef were both much better than the host and the food was terrific. The only negative is that they don't currently offer a lunch menu even though it is shown on the website so it ended up being a more expensive lunch than we would have liked.

such poor service never going back. charged 8 dollars for gratitude and expected more of a tip after that. NO WAY! took 4 hours can't believe that. i should've left after the first hour. took 40 min just to talk to someone to seat us. then another 2 hours to seat us and then 2 hours to get a chef all for 10 minutes of eating. SAVE YOUR MOMEY. hit up mizu across the street.

From arrival to the end of our meal it was a horrible time. I don't mind paying good money for great service and food but you won't get it here. We had a 5:30 reservation and after contacting an employee twice, we were seated at a table (cook tops were not available) at 5:45. Our waiter was just OK, but the food was AWFUL. The stir fried shrimp were ice cold and chewy. The meals might have been prepared to order but I am doubtful. I will NEVER step foot in this restaurant again.

Waited 30 minutes for a seat, and the food was savagely average. The place is slightly dirty, the service was curt, and the food was bland and boring except for a single piece of tempura chicken I ordered in an appetizer. I wouldn't recommend this place. It was very disappointing.

Waited 40 minutes for drinks after being seated after many requests... At this point we should have left... My mistake. But then we finally get all the drinks and had a decent meal.. then comes the bill. ... Dinners are approximately $5 above the menu. Adding a total of $30 more than menu prices. Watch this place as the scam you into believing prices are one thing and charging something else. This place is criminal. There are plenty of other good hibachi restaurants that are close any much more reputable.
