My husband and I were planning on eating here before Dustin Lynch on April 13 2024 got there at a reasonable time waited for almost 30 minutes for a table. Ended up walking out. I think they pick and choose who they want to seat because I seen at least 3 tables leave after we got there and people get seated before us that came in after us. The hostess acted like she was better than people so maybe that was the problem who knows I just know they will not get my business.

Excellent food! I work right down the street and love their burgers; however, they're not open for lunch any more so I am no longer able to give them my money, which is unfortunate. Hopefully one day they will learn to capitalize on the downtown lunch revenue from businesses that they can generate. Appears to be poor ownership and management in my opinion. Besides, wasn't this once on Bar Rescue or something? Obviously someone didn't pay attention... Good luck!

Great St Patrick's day pop up bar! Was in from out of town for an event, themed food was good but slightly overpriced for what it was. Would have been great to have been able to try the regular menu and not just the pop up items offered. Other than that overall great experience, our server was wonderful despite being super busy! Will try again next time I am in the area

What a Steel Valley gem! Part of the renaissance of Downtown Youngstown, this place stands out as the best. Incredible beer selection, great drink menu and their over-the-top holiday decor (for just about EVERY holiday) has to be seen to be believed!

In Youngstown visiting for an event. The federal was recommended to us as a really cool place to visit,with a pop-up Valentine bar. It was! The Valentine themed drinks were very modestly priced compared to other cities. And delicious. Our server(saysB8CPL night on the bill) was super friendly and so sweet. We ordered just an appetizer, as we had already had dinner on the road. Calamari. Again, reasonably priced and excellent. May stop again tomorrow!

We went to The Federal for an anniversary celebration. We were impressed with the decor. We were seated at a nice table. They were out of the one appetizer by 6:00. The one appetizer we did order came with 6 small pieces of toasted bread and we asked for more bread because over half of the cheese and peppers were still left and was charged $4 for 4 more little price of bread. The other appetizer was delicious. Speciality drinks were ok. We took a cake for dessert beings it was celebration for 10 of us. They couldn’t put it in frig. Manager said no. So we ask if they could put it in the back while we ate which was another issue. It took our food a while to come out. So we felt rushed because they only give you a two hour time slot and we were there over an hour before our food came. So we left and took the cake back with us because there was no time for cake. Just disappointed. The food was average. Although the salads were good. We were not sure but our waitress seemed new. Could have been so much more. Just few things made it not the best celebration.

Me and my friends went here for a celebratory dinner and we were not disappointed. The service was fantastic and everyone was so lively the food was delicious and me and my friends agreed we love to come back the Christmas decorations were insane for the holiday it called miracle on federal l. We had a grant time. I could not be prouder of a place in downtown Ohio. The Christmas music had me and friends singing along. There is no disappointment here I guarantee it.
