I hate the way steak and shake does it now. Order off a kiosk and get all your own stuff, just to cut jobs! Food was good but it's too expensive to be doing so the work yourself!

Staff was very rude and unwilling to help. On their phones at the counter. Ignoring people. Had very bad attitudes and acted like they didn't want to be there. The atmosphere in there was awful and uninviting.

Workers were very rude. Acted like they didn't want to be there and their attitude showed it. I walked up to the young lady that was making the milkshakes to ask for something and she greeted me with a very rude what. Ordered the garlic burgers but when I got them the garlic sauce wasn't on the buns then it felt like I had to beg for them to pay attention to me so I can get my order corrected. The atmosphere was very off and filled with bad attitude.

Food was solid. Not a fan on basically zero interaction with staff....100% kiosk ordering and then you go up to pick up your food. Call me old fashioned....I miss the service.

Extremely rude worker at the drive-thru, She yelled at the older lady in front of us. She told her she had to wait because she is short staffed, so we knew we were in for it. We ordered the number four and before we could complete our sentence, she asked what we wanted to drink. We didn't get a second to reply and yet again she is yelling , she said she couldn't hear us. Then we told her we wanted a shake.. to which she replied She's not doing shakes..... at freaking Steak and shake. So we just left. It was a wild experience.

My wife and I decided to stop after a basketball game. It was late, and not many places were open. When we entered, there were only two other people there at the time.We had to check a few different booths because it looked as though they had not been cleaned off by anyone for a while. The food was good, especially the milk shakes.I didn't like the fact that you have to order from the kiosk.

Literally zero human interaction, from ordering on a kiosk to nearly having to beg to get mustard since the bins were empty, even a scanner for the drinks that didn't even work. I get it people don't wanna work but this was just an astonishing scene of "not my job" mentality. Employees wearing slides for footwear. Last thing was they asked for a tip in the kiosk while ordering before even getting food or service? That's growing into a huge issue for me, if you want a "tip " provide some service if all i wanted was some good throw in a dirty tray i could go to any other place. We choose yours because we like your food but can't say we'll be back because of the last experience.

I went thru drive thru after a long and VERY TRAUMATIC DAY!Ordered daughters, grandsons and my food. Got to the window to pay and asked the girl if I could have ketchup and a little extra. She says yes I said sorry but just had a house fire so won't be able to have access to any. She said ok went back to where my home is now burnt up and down! And had NO KETCHUP...... I UNDERSTAND TO SOME BUT IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL! But if you have ever been through a house fire.... It is a big and huge deal being that you have absolutely nothing left of your life after 53 years!!I called down there to let them know that they didn't put the ketchup in explain to her I said you know I told the girl that I had a house fire that you know I have no access to any ketchup or anything else and the manager proceeded to save this to me......... YES SHE FORGOT IT AND YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY PERSON WHO EVER HAS HAD A HOUSE FIRE!!!!!!!!! Are proceeded to say what did you just say because I wasn't quite sure that I heard her right but I did!!! She repeated what she said and I hung up on her! After a few minutes of processing what she just said to me and how inconsiderate an uncaring that was I called back and asked for the manager and that's when she told me that too that was I asked for corporate number of course by this time my daughter's caught wind of what I'm talking about and was going completely irate..... I asked my daughter to please stop because I needed the corporate number and the manager hung up on me!!!!
