Wonderful Eatery. Great atmosphere, service, and portions ate enormous. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star, is that although I love spicy food, I'd rather have just one spicy item at a time. I would definitely go back.

Grabbed a to-go order for an evening picnic and was not disappointed. Their black bean burger is absolutely amazing! Staff was friendly, food was delicious AND reasonably priced. Super excited to dine in and try more of their menu next time we are in the area.

Finally got around to this hidden gem I. Downtown Zanesville Ohio. You'll immediately notice a flare of artistic measure and thr second you walk in a contrast that is both amazing and full of character. On my visit there were definite pros and cons. Customer service was hands down the best feature of the visit. They catered to our every need without being invasive. I would hope they bring that spirit to the bar area. Only one patron was there with two bartenders and the sale was both slow and impersonal. Very dissapointing. And sadly the food was far below expectations. Though presented well it bordered on fair food with a shrimp po boy, a chicken a waffle (which came highly recommended), and boom boom shrimp. The chicken quality was tough, tasted like it was sitting at the pick up for far too long, and the shrimp on both features were poor market breading and nothing close to the quality of what you pay. You'll leave the building $50 short eating on a budget. I gave the restaurant 4☆ only due to how amazing customer service was, and for how understanding management was with every food concern. Meal was comped and an apology dessert provided. But you can not go to a restaurant wanting to constantly get something for free. They have a gorgeous building and great staff (minus the bar), with just room for improvement in the quality of food they serve for the price.

We ate there. The food was okay, could have been better. The appetizers were plentiful and very tasty. My husband was slightly disappointed in the cod. The breading was extremely heavy.

The food was good, nothing spectacular but unfortunately we waited over 45 minutes for it. This was upsetting because we had a reservation at 4pm due to an event we had at 6 thinking it would give us plenty of time and they just opened. We ordered within 10 minutes. We didn't get food until 505pm and we had to leave at 530. So we ate fast and left. Probably won't return.

We came in with a large group- our server was fantastic & attentive, our food came quickly and it was delicious! A great impression on my first visit- can’t wait to come back.

Easily my favorite restaurant in Zanesville. Exciting food, great staff and beautiful settings.

They’ve ruined my favorite thing on the menu, that is the Southern Burger. They replaced the Stone Ridge Wagyu beef patty they used on the burger with one that isn’t even comparable. My life flashed before my eyes when I took a bite out of the new patty and realized that nothing last forever.

Got to try the chicken and waffles and the shrimp and grits. Both were amazing. Very very rich. Great place to stop over for dinner. I will absolutely go back.

I visited on a Friday night. I had the fish special. It was great except for the Cole slaw which was so-so. A man was singing and playing guitar and he was excellent. Service was good. I would recommend going sometime.

We visited for dinner on Wednesday night on our way to DC. We shared an arugula salad with goat cheese that was very tasty and I had Blackened Salmon and hubby had Shrimp and Grits. Both delicious. My salmon was moist yet done, over beans, rice and spinach. It was delicious. Old Fashioned was ok-I’m from Wisconsin and those drinks are an art form there. Cheesecakes delicious especially the praline one. I felt price was reasonable for what we had, we were greeted right away. Wait staff not detailed but met the need. (Empty plate sat, not volunteering a lot of info) but I was glad they had wait staff due to labor shortages. We would definitely return if we stay in Zanesville again.
