Repeated correction on placing a simple request. First off, beans were told there was no pig lard, and I've been ordering their vegetarian burrito for quite some time. One night, the cashier girl stated there was pig lard in the burrito, and that caused a huge problem for me. We trusted the restaurant for their honesty and were lied to. Talked to the kitchen supervisor, and she stated there was no pig lard in the beans, and they had switched to adding vegetarian oil. Again, we regained trust and continued to purchase burritos about several times a week. Personally, our preference of bean rice, guacamole, and potatoes is a great filled burrito to go to as our pre work out. Spent over $100 a week and sometimes get kids' meals if my child wanted their food. Today, I found bacon in my "vegetarian burrito", I don't even eat pork. I am extremely upset and will no longer be a loyal customer. The guacamole is great. Kid's chicken nuggets are a great portion. I would appreciate training the entire staff on food knowledge, preparing food, and mindfulness.

Catrina is straight up good!!! I have had several items on their menu and I'm never disappointed. It reminds me of a taco truck in a brick and mortar. I don't think you can make a bad choice here. Service is friendly and fairly quick. The food is fresh and the portions are massive. I usually end up with one of their burritos which are well worth every bit of your money. I ended up getting the L.A. Burrito that had steak, fries, beans, lettuce, sour cream and guacamole. Topped it off with some fresh salsa and of course washed it down with a legit coke in a bottle. It doesn't get better than that!! Enjoy the photos

First time coming here. I must say my son's food (chicken nacho fries) was amazing I liked the funnel fries with strawberry jamBut my tacos along with my daughters (we got the same meal ) birria tacos were not good the meat to cheese ratio wasn't right and the "steak" was BLAND and chewy ? I couldn't even finish them... broth was okayEven though my meal wasn't great I would return and stick to the chicken or try the breakfast menu

You are not going to go here for the atmosphere or decor. It is very good Mexican food. The portions are large, everything has been fresh, and service is good. Everything we have tried so far has been good. Expect a little wait going through the Drive Through which tells me they are taking time to prepare the food properly. Not a fast food place. We'll be back.

Food was hot and fresh. I truly recommend trying this place. My daughter had a chicken burrito (could only eat half) and I had the carne asada bowl (only ate half). Their portions are huge and can be eaten for two meals easy. The only negative is that I asked for salsa and the lady in the drive thru said they do not have salsa right now. I had salsa at the house that I used but I wanted to try theirs. All in all very tasty food, we will be back.
I tried street tacos they were yummy rice and beans spot on , then went back next day for bierra tacos they were good was just looking for more flavor today we decided to try the breakfast burritos good lord make sure u dont order more then 1 and u can split this they are massive i got bacon egg cheese and potatoes and kids got steak egg and cheese bacon could be more crisp other then that u get your moneys worth for sure so glad i found this place we will be back supporting locally-owned business is better then feeding big corporate pockets !
The Barrio Tacos are the best I've had! Make sure to try the salsa verde with the broth

02-07-2024 11:40 AM, my bride and I decided to try Catrina Fresh Mex on Elm for lunch. She ordered two Pastor Tacos and Horchata. She said the tacos were good and really liked their Horchata - said it was light. Besides the onion-cilantro mix on her tacos, there were lots of caramelized onions with her tacos. She didn't see the 3 taco and drink special until we were leaving. I ordered the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito [huge], one Pastor taco topped with a few raw onions and one strand of caramelized onion, and a lemonade. Taco & Burrito were good. [The photograph of the burrito with their plastic fork shows scale.] When I asked the order taker/cashier if any of the sauces at their sides bar had cilantro [allergy] in them, he said yes (he looked like he was just guessing). I looked at the 3-4 sauces and could not tell either way - disappointing. The mixed jalapeño & carrots were great, lots of limes available along with a tray full of mixed chopped onions and cilantro, bagged plastic utensils, napkins and little plastic cups for sauces, etc.
