This place is a hidden Jen. The service is always good and the servers always friendly. The atmosphere is nice and the prices are good value for what you get. Top it all off with the best Mexican food around.

We were very pleased with our meal at Habanero's. The food was served quick and hot and in generous portions! Our server Daniel, was especially attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the good food and quiet atmosphere

Why the bad reviews? We live about two miles away. Every time we eat here, we get great food and lots of it, served quickly and professionally, at a good price. They turned this former Braum's builing into a successful restaurant. You should see the packed parking lot on weekends and Taco Tuesday nights!

We were going to another Mexican place down the street for dinner but drove by and the ambience just didn't seem to be a good fit so we kept driving and saw this place randomly and decided to stop in. It was just two of us so we opted to sit at the bar and were greeted with a very big smile from the very busy bartender who immediately brought us chips and a giant bowl of fresh made salsa which is not a tiny little bowl but a very large bowl. We ordered a couple of Modelo's which were very large well poured lime and salt as they should be and hung out for a little bit while we enjoyed a giant bowl of queso that we ordered which was also a bigger portion than I've had at other places. We opted for the fajitas deluxe which I believe was steak chicken shrimp all the sides and our waitress/bartender kept the tortillas coming we ordered a single order which was plenty for both of us and we took leftovers home. We both agreed that for $38 for two people to dine and have all of this was a tremendous value for the price and we will be back.

Everything here is wonderful. Two salsa options that have the perfect flavor. Chips are crisp with the perfect texture. I've had the mucho bueno margarita every visit, and it's always perfect! Service is friendly and fast, priced affordably and appropriately. You can't go wrong eating here.

I have seen this happen many years as a food service supplier. My wife and I have enjoyed this restaurant since they opened for business. The last few visits were less than average. My son and wife ordered Arroz Con Pollo. They both commented on how bad it was. (Second time) They served it with less cheese than usual, and the burnt chicken looked like re-used fajita meat. My meal of 3 enchiladas was unappetizing and didn't even have rice and beans, with less ingredients than previously. Management take heed: between myself and wife and, son and his wife, my granddaughter and her husband & 4 children who use to visit every Friday evening, you lost 10 customers. My granddaughter's family stopped eating there months ago because there were much better Mexican restaurants. NO restaurant can afford to lose 10 customers. NONE! The very most important thing in a restaurant is quality. If you jeopardize quality people will not return. There is also something called value & price in the food business. If your value is not worth the price, people will seek a better value. I know times are very tough in the restaurant business. They may get worse. But don't compromise the very things that made you successful.

This has been my go to for a while for Mexican food. The last few times service had gone down a little. I can overlook that due to staffing issues everywhere. The food quality has been a little Jess than normal as well. I went in today at 11 for lunch and got a lunch special. The service was awesome, but the rice & beans were so salty I couldn’t eat them. I didn’t even mention the stale taco shell, I dealt h with that. I really hope things get better, the service has, so hopefully the food will improve as well.

We loved food, but when you ask for the “extra hot sauce” it’s not good at all… I’d definitely go back if I knew they improved it..Hot sauce, mild or hot, should compliment the food

Half of our food was cold when served and the others were luke warm. There was a mess up when our granddaughter ordered kids fajitas and when they came out it was huge so my son in law asked specifically if this was a kids fajitas and was told yes. Then when the bill came the manager came out too and explained that it was in fact an adult order and it was rung up that way and here's the waitress and she's giving the you $5 difference. Then she hands my son in law a $5 bill. While this may be something that is done in the industry I have never had a restaurant humiliate a waitress in this way. Needless to say we won't be back.

We went here with family and my granddaughter ordered the kids fajitas. When the order came out it was huge and my son in law asked if that was a kids meal. The waitress said yes but then when the bill came the manger came out too and explained that it was indeed a regular fajita meal and made the waitress give us five dollars to cover the difference. That is not right that the waitress was brought out and made to pay us at the table. This was after half of our meals were served cold or luke warm. We won’t be back again.

The food was okay. We had to correct the server on our order multiple times because she doesn’t understand English very well. Half of our order was wrong or missing. She didn’t even ask me what I wanted to eat. She just decided I wanted enchiladas when I never said any such thing. Our appetizer came after our entree because she couldn’t understand us and she thought we had ordered it as an entree- when we never said any such thing. You need to rethink the way you hire folks for public facing positions. I don’t blame her at all. I blame your management.
