We were driving through town from OKC on our trip to Missouri and we found this place from someone mentioning it in the soda shop on the edge of town. Great restaurant in a really cool building.Food and experience was great! Loved the whole building.

DO NOT go on a weekend, we had a 12:30 reservation I guess that only ensures a table, still waiting 1 hour and 15 min later for our food. No one even checkes back in with us, we had to ask someone to help check on the food. She was like enough to offer us some bread, but they close soon and are still waiting. ?I ordered the chicken BBQ potato and it has about 4 tiny grilled chunks of potato. Everyone else's food was luke warm. The manager stepped in and was very helpful and understanding, so I bumped up the stars.

I have noticed the last few months that their portions are smaller than ever regardless of what I order.

Met someone there, and the hostess seated us in separate rooms, leaving us waiting. The waittress was slow to take our order and bring drinks. Time has no meaning here. Waited 40 minutes for our soup and sandwiches, which were both wrong. We opted not to have it remade and extend the meal to two hours. The food was mediocre at best. Ideal for retirees with open schedules - not business lunches. Grandma's with a gossipy vibe, town matrons catching up on what little is happening. Outdated Victorian decor, gift shop, and teapots don't make up for abysmal service.

I held a private event recently and it was perfect! We had their High Tea service, and the food was not only delicious, but there was plenty of it. The waitstaff was incredibly kind and helpful, and the pacing of the food was spot on. And of course, the venue is gorgeous! A must visit for anyone who enjoys a true tea service experience (or if you just like great food)!P.S. This was the best tomato soup I’ve ever had!

I made reservations for a meeting and was told almost private area. I get here and they don't have reservation and it's not at all private and she's sorry she can't have meetings here. I did for sure mention to her on phone that it was for a meeting. This is my first time here. I will NEVER be back. I am so disappointed and furious.

If you're planning an antique shopping trip to Claremore this is your must stop lunch destination. Beautiful old mansion and excellent food. They have a gift shop and absolutely don't forget to order the brownie.

The two stars is because my wife's sandwich was good. This was the first time eating from the Pink House and it was a little disappointing. I did order my food over the phone to take a enjoy elsewhere with my wife.My wife's Reuben was good with no issue, mine however, the complaint is the attempt to correct an improperly made sandwich. After the sandwich was cut they realized they put tomatoes on the sandwich and removed what they could leaving the internals of the tomatoes on the sandwich. Shame on the cook for not reading the ticket and shame on who ever removed it because luckily I'm not allergic to tomatoes. You should be more cautious of your corner cutting because someone could be allergic to the next thing you try and sneak off.Next issue I had was the desserts, the fudge in a cup was bad and didn't make sense. There were chunks of graham cracker and nuts in it when it didn't call out nuts according to what I read, another allergy alert that could kill someone with a nut allergy. The chocolate cake I ordered was not cake at all but some pastry with mousse and Cool whip (you can taste the store bought, kinda sad to use store bought when it's so easy to make and for the price), this could have been a misunderstanding over the phone so, oh well but the fudge was the big problem.I waited years to try this place and doubt I'll ever return because when someone doesn't care about properly maintaining cooking space with cross contamination and bad serving practices of serving incorrect food intentionally it puts a sour taste in my mouth. I hope you don't get someone sick.

I ordered takeout BUT next time I will dine in. The ambiance is perfect. My food was excellent (chicken salad sandwich, chic broccoli casserole, baked fudge- don't worry I shared) and the service was top notch. Definitely a Claremore staple!

This is a lovely old Victorian home that has been turned into a tea house/restaurant. We had the ham and cheese quiche, stuffed backed potato, and a Cesar chicken wrap and it was all delicious! The gift shop had cute items that were reasonably priced and the grounds and house were beautiful.
