Great food, good service, although a slightly rundown building, but not bad. The fried pickles were amazing, and so were the fried mushrooms, and the chicken strips. Also, the food took forever and the AC was out. Otherwise, amazing restaraunt!
Catfish and Shrimp were good but order take out so you don’t have to see how dirty it is inside. We were the only customers at the time so we got to choose a table that wasn’t covered in crumbs and spilled sauce. Waitress never lifted a finger to clean any tables while we were there. Too bad they don’t keep it clean because that restaurant style would do well in Western Oklahoma.

I was passing through on I40 headed for Amarillo hungry for some catfish. Did a search and saw Sam’s Southern Eatery was 5 minutes away. Ordered catfish, shrimp, and oysters with hush puppies and coleslaw. Everything was excellent and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Loved everything about it. I will definitely stop in the next time I’m in Clinton. Great spot!
