Excellent meal. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. My wife agrees. Excellent service all around.

Owner might be one of the rudest people you meet. Food is also very dry. Don’t take your kids here if you don’t want them hearing filth come out of the owners mouth. He should know better. It’s not surprising they don’t get much business. I would recommend another establishment. Until they get a new or better owner, this is not a family joint. If you don’t agree with anything the guy says, you will hear about it. And loudly. Ask anyone in town, his name is not one people are happy with. I now see why. I should’ve listened. Oh well. It’s hard to believe a grown man acts like that… how sad for him.

It was end of season so nothing was open... Like if it was open season. Other than that... We ordered burgers and fried mushrooms .... Be prepared for ginormous sized food. Service and food was exceptional. Definitely go again during open season.

Even with Google Maps, this family-owned family-friendly establishment is a bit difficult to find. The workers - mostly an extended family of three generations - are gracious and kind. The food is homey, tasty, and big. I took away a significant portion in a to-go box - and enjoyed it the next day (mine was a cheeseburger and fries). For travelers to the Ten Killer area - absolutely yes, go here. For residents in surrounding areas, also a yes, give it a try. After finding it the first time, you will go back every once in a while. Parking is understandably dirt/rocks - the outside is a bit rustic. Inside is clean and welcoming.

Cute family owned restaurant. Each order is cooked individually so there is a bit of a wait but it is well worth it.

I am so disappointed. My family and I have been visiting this establishment since we bought our cabin down the street in 2012. This has been one of our favorite things to do during our lakehouse visits. We have often recommended and promoted this business, especially since the golf course had to be shut down because the food is so good. When I went in to eat today, I had my Siberian Husky support dog with me, who pretty much goes everywhere I do, especially when I'm by myself. I left her outside while I went in to ask permission to bring her in, which they said of course. To be mindful of the other family dining inside, We sat in the furthest most isolated spot. My dog is very vocal, as most Huskies are, which we never trained out of her, mostly because it's adorable and people usually expect it and like it. So after I ordered, the older man that owns or co-owns the place approaches me and starts to ask what type of dog she is, then very rudely tells me that it is impossible that she can be a support animal since she is vocal, and made me feel very uncomfortable and hurt. I don't mind if they would rather not have her there, but there are definitely more tactful and friendly ways to tell me. That's why I asked first. I have had many friendly conversations with this man, and he just treated me like a second class stranger, and the worst trash he has ever met. The ironic thing is, the first few years we went there, they had a dog roaming all over inside the restaurant. So I just asked for a to-go box, paid my ticket with a huge tip like I always do there(regardless of the service), and left. I really hope they make an attempt to mend this situation, since they know us, and probably even know where our house down the street is, but until then, even though the food is good, there are plenty of places to eat.
