Slow an rude. The sushi chef was making my young daughter feel uncomfortable.Heard there is a rat problem, took a chance of eating there still and yes I can confirm 2 rodents on 2 occasions 1 of which was in the kitchen. This places reputation defiantly checks out.

I ordered online a Thor Roll for myself and 2 kids chicken hibachi for my kids. It was a $45 order and took about an hour. Driver drips off just sushi and said she was told they couldn't do the hibachi (no reason given to driver). They didn't call me to tell me they weren't going to make my kids food so here I am waiting for food I paid for and only get sushi and now have to last min find something to feed my kids who have already been waiting and expecting their food. Horrible customer service.

Good atmosphere for a casual dining experience. If you are looking for a traditional Japanese sushi experience this isn’t it. It’s more of a bar with sushi. The service was great though. They are super kind and the food was good. There is a lot of rice in the rolls but the flavor is good. I’d come again.

We eat sushi all over and it’s hard to find quality and taste like from Dallas to Colorado whenever we have it somewhere else it’s always compared to here you figure bigger city’s would have great sushi good to know the best is in my local place AAA+ it’s a small quaint place good service compared to other places price is on

We visited this establishment last night. Only 2 of us my BF and I. Horrible service it took 10 minutes for someone to even see us after we sat ourselves and then an additional 30 for our appetizer to come out. The server did not refill our drinks one time and we were there for a total of about an hour and 1/2. She didn't even stop at the table once to tell us there was going to be a wait or give us an update on the food. Once our food finally came out it was cold. The food was not good. The hibachi vegetables were cabbage and the yum yum sauce looked like wax that had sat way to long it was not sauce it was a solid . There were only 4 other tables of people in the restaurant with us, and at that not a single table was a big party. They had several to go orders in the restaurant. When I worked in a restaurant customers in house came before call in orders this was not the case for them. The women's bathroom was a health hazard and giant hole in the ceiling that had caved in from water damage that had not been fixed and could have fell at any moment. We will not be returning we had heard nothing but bad things about this place from friends but wanted to try it for ourselves and that was a mistake. Great restaurant next door The Roadhouse , go there instead.

The seating is about like a fast food joint. The base price of my meal was about $40 and I upgraded to fried rice from steamed for $3.25 more. I ordered the lobster hibachi dinner. By the time they did what they do to the meal, it wouldn't have tasted any differently if I had opted for the chicken version of the dinner. The only utensil you get is a fork so you have to be a skilled rice eater to finish the plate without soiling your fingers. This was my second time here. The first time was okay because I just had combination fried rice. The prices for the offerings are far in excess of the value, especially if you factor in the flavor. To add insult to injury, I had to ask for the ticket after I had finished my meal. This place isn't going to need a third visit to say that it is off the list of available restaurants.

My family and I dined here and 2 out of 6 of us got sick, likely food poisoning.We split appetizers, calamari and dumplings, which tasted pretty good. Then we split a sushi combo, sashimi combo and about 5 or 6 other special rolls. I eat sushi frequently and I could tell pretty quickly that the sashimi did not taste fresh. It had a very strong fish taste and smelled off, like it was old fish. One piece i had was hard and difficult to chew. Some of the sushi rolls tasted alright, but it was all below average. We also ordered a chicken & udon noodle hibachi dinner and that was the best tasting part of the meal.The waiter was very kind and provided good service. The atmosphere was fine, except it smelled a bit like a toilet in the back (bar area), which is also where the bathrooms are located.As for the food poisoning, I started feeling nauseous and having stomach pains almost immediately after eating here. Thankfully it only lasted about 24 hours. I found out later that another member of my family in our party had the same symptoms for approximately the same amount of time.I wanted to like this place, but unfortunately we won't be going back. ?Edit: I think the owners unprofessional response speaks for itself... This was just an honest review from my experience eating here.
Small portions for the price. hibachi steak had no flavor rice wasn't good eithier. Places like this need honest reviews. I expected better.

My boyfriend ate here 2 yrs ago and hated it so we decided to give it a try today. Service at the bar was great! Soup and dumplings for appetizer were awesome. My boyfriend had sushi and I had hibachi so we could both sample. The sushi is sooo good. We got the red snapper and the OMG roll. We loved it. The hibachi on the other hand was not very good for the price. Vegetables undercooked. Rice was drowned in black pepper. I didn’t like the yum yum sauce. It tasted too sweet like butterscotch. We’ll be back for the sushi though!

I got food poising good from eating the scallops here. Scallops had an acetone taste, and we let the server know. However she didn't do anything about it and said perhaps it may be because they stored their scallops in a stainless steel container. Beware when eating here. This facility may not have food workers who understand and follow food safety protocols! For a lunch special that came out to $50 I spent in the ER, barfed everything back up, spent the night getting my stomach pumped and got hot sweats and headaches. Not worth it!!! Never again :(

Waitress wanted to argue with me about my sushi that I’ve been eating there since they opened then we had to ask for refills on tea. Asked for yum yum sauce and was told they was out! Got food for my daughter and brought it home it wasn’t even what I ordered! There was a group of us and sad to say but won’t be back!Owner contacted me and made sure that things got fixed! I will go back!! Thank you so much!!
