Our experience at Cafe 501 has always been exceptional. We usually have Sydnee as our server who goes above and beyond to satisfy all of her customers. This time, our young lady was equally concerned with our satisfaction and did an excellent job. The food was delicious and the pastries are fresh and amazing!

Sunday brunch with friends at Cafe 501 in Edmond. The restaurant is fun, upbeat, with a nice vibe. It' s in an old building with a modern decor inside. We started with Bloody Marrys. I believe the one we ordered is named Barcelona Bloody Marry. They had hot sauce added, which gave them just a little "kick." Thoroughly enjoyed them. I ordered the black bean quasadiaa. It's not your usual quasadiaa that you find in TexMex restaurants. The presentation is different, in a good way. It is hearty and flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I was unable to eat all of it. Jan ordered the Hueavous Ranchero. It too is very robust and hardy. She thoroughly it, but was unable to finish it. The noise is low-moderate. The service was slow.

Place wasn't very busy when we arrived, & we had a Easter Sunday reservation. Server was on top of things and recited some of their drink & menu specials. Food came out n time and it was very aesthetically pleasing . Food was Cooked properly and although the slo-cooked pulled pork was not hot; and there were onions in the garnish on top. I can't eat onions and would have liked to know they were in it prior to ordering. Servers were very good at working as a team and helping move service along. Drinks were served quickly before our main order and served in appropriate glassware. Refills wer proactively asked about. My only complaint would be that the meals really had no “ flavors”. The herb potatoes tasted like there were no herbs, the slo cooked pork was cooked so long the flavor left. The honey baked ham was too thinly cut for the breakfast meal; so not much flavor. The biscuit was a “ biscuit” no additional flavor and it obviously had been sitting around for awhile. The sausage gravy had tidbits of sausage and no flavor in the “ gravy” ; needed pepper for sure. Flavor of food is definitely lacks luster, service was very good, prices and ambiance was good. NOTE: do a major search er haul on both bathrooms and put a partial door to that area. Women's room needs two stalls- get rid of the couch. Men's room needs to remove the mirror so n front of the stall.

Great food, great service, and a special thank you for remaking my sandwich after I overlooked the fact that it comes with avocado (which I'm allergic to). I tally appreciated that so much! The sandwich was SO GOOD, BTW!

Perfection. Love this place so much. Try the Green Bowl. It is amaaazing. Their tea is so good and their lemon vinaigrette dressing is delicious. So much to love about this cozy gem. Their black bean chili is excellent moreso at dinner bc seasonings have all had time to set in. The staff are all friendly and sweet and so accommodating. Angela Lupe and Jackie are wonderful staples, but the entire staff is special and they all do a great job.

So happy we visited Cafe 501. I had asked for a “quiet corner” table when booking on line, and the request was granted, even though it was a busy Friday night! Food was excellent, server very good. We will return.

It's been awhile since we had a dinner with you, but our experience was great - the food, the atmosphere, the service (!). I remember when you opened -and have enjoyed your evolution.

First time at this restaurant and was for a birthday, which I had noted on the reservation. Greeter knew this, but a little disappointed she didn't pass the info to our waitress. The food was excellent, but the portions were small.

I just came to say the buttermilk fried chicken dish is probably the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. Always love the 501 salad too. A++ experience today! Came for a special/fun meal and this knocked it out of the park.
