I got the shrimp with broccoli. All of this for $6.25 (that is tax included). I highly recommend.

I'm so sad to have to leave a 2 star review. The lady we called our order into was so sweet and they had our food ready super quickly (which could have been part of the problem). We got crab Rangoon, egg rolls, sesame chicken and shrimp lo mein. Unfortunately, none of it was very good. I could only handle one bite of the egg roll. The sesame chicken was super soggy. The lo mein had almost no shrimp, and their Rangoon was not your typical Rangoon, hardly any filling :( I love supporting local businesses but this one has really gone downhill from when I used to eat there years ago.

Let me preface this review by saying that we were really hungry and we wanted to try a new Chinese restaurant that was close to us and that landed us at China House. I was able to call ahead from my car and place our order. Most awesomely it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. That was perfect for us, especially that evening, because we were running so late and we had five hangry humans in one closed vehicle. The gentleman that took our order was very friendly and repeated the order back to me. Once we arrived at the location my husband went into pick up the food and because we had ordered a certain dollar amount of food he was told to pick out a free 2 L soda! My husband was also impressed that they had a nice set up for Covid. They built a stall with an attached top of plexiglass and wooden bottom right at the entrance. A square opening was cut out through the lower wooden half. That way they were fully protected face wise and we were too. They passed our food to us through the cutout and then off we went. This Chinese food is typical fast food Chinese food - American style. I knew that's what we were getting so I wasn't disappointed. We ordered 5 eggrolls, 3 wonton soup, 2 fried rice, sesame chicken, & pepper beef. Everyone was really happy with what they ordered. The chicken that was in the sesame chicken was a little dry, but that is typical at any fast food Chinese place that you go to. So I'm rating them four stars on what I expected and what I received. They got my order correct, the staff was kind and courteous, we got a bonus 2 L soda, the food was good and they took great Covid19 precautions. So I am definitely not ruling out the possibility of grabbing some quick Chinese from the Chinese House in the future! Great job and thank you for the precautions that you're taking during the pandemic. We, as the hangry human public and patrons, appreciate you.
