Made reservations at 7, didn't get seated until 8. Hibachi, definitely good and entertaining. Sushi is okay. Some ordered the all you can eat sushi, not the greatest of selection for that.

Absolutely the worst hibachi experience I’ve ever had. It was terrible from the get go. Our waitress let us know before even taking our drink orders that our table of 10 was already stressing her out just seeing us. I had to ask her for lime 3 different times. When we would ask for a refill, she would act put out and not come back with it! We ordered our food at about 6:45 and didn’t have someone come cook for us until 8! All the while, we got our soup late because the waitress was “too busy” as she liked to tell us, and when she brought salads, she said “well bad news, we are out of salads so there’s only 4 so who wants em.” There was also about a quarter inch of water in the bottom of each salad. One of our children wanted soup so I asked her what the difference was in the Miso soup and the clear soup and she laughed and said “well one is clear!” It took 1 1/2 hours to get the California roll we ordered and we had to ask where it was. Her response.... oh yeah I think I saw it back there somewhere, and brought it right out. The dishes were dirty!! The bathroom was flooded!! And when I talked to the manager about how bad the experience was, he asked me what was worse, the California roll or the chef???? And it was my fiancé’s and my mother and father in laws birthday dinner and we dropped $190 at this place. We showed up at 6 and left at 8:45ish, and our chef spent about 28 minutes at our table or less. I will never go back!

I liked our waiter but the food was just okay for Japanese Hibachi around here.I mean, we have some fantastic hibachi places here, but this was just sub par. The sushi was good! But the fried rice was like box rice. I just feel like they're trying but not quite achieving the excellence of the other hibachi places. It also took a long time to get our food, but they were busy so I will give some grace there.

I was very impressed with Sumo. The chef was friendly, fun, and charismatic. He cooked the food to perfection. Who knew you could make music with a spatula and a knife? I cannot wait to go back!

The food was terrible. I have eaten at several Sumo’s restaurants and this was disgusting. Flat flavors, watered down sauces and house dressing that looks like baby vomit. Won’t be back.

Loved our visit and Andrew took great care of us!! Ny husband and I are both gluten free and they accommodated us with no issues or attitude. Everyone was very friendly and the space is so large, no social distancing issues. Will return!!!

I absolutely love Sumo. My boyfriend and I go here for every single anniversary, birthday, Valentine's Day, etc. we absolutely love the hibachi steak. The fried rice is so good and so is the soup and salad that you get before. The cooks are always so funny and try their best to make sure you are enjoying it.
The best Hibachi! We have eaten here over 40 times and have never been disappointed. Our son has celiac disease, and this is one of the few places he eats safely. Leon always makes sure his food is made right. We went for my son's birthday and the chef made his food first to avoid cross contamination, and made sure he had the gluten free soy sauce. We love sumo!

Weird. Weird. Weird. Such an awkward place, staff, and patrons. I was super uncomfortable the entire experience. There are so many other nice Japanese steakhouses in the area I'd suggest those. Kobe, shogun, mushashi's to name a few. Honestly, just don't waste your money unless you like the feeling of sitting in a dirty room with weird misfits.

What an experience! Loved it!! The hibachi chefs are very talented and entertaining. It is pricey but the quality and quantity of food plus the entertaining staff make it well worth it! I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Don't get a reservation they are useless at this place. They will just put you in line with everyone else to wait forever. Management is terrible and didn't care even telling me that they over booked their tables, and we would just have to wait. Don't waist your time with a reservation.
