“The food was amazing i got the fish and chips all of it was delicious the coleslaw was the best I've ever had, my wife got the catfish and loaded baked potato and they were both the biggest I've ever seen in a restaurant, my 3 year old got the corn dog and tater tots and it was a fit long corn dog and cooked to perfection. We also got the fried portobello mushroom fries and omg. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you won't be disappointed!“
“Cozy place, walls covered in old photos of people and memorabilia. Very off route 66. Despite every seat in the house being filled I had a hard time getting my cup half empty. Food was great, fresh, little details like salt on the tomato really speak to the skill of the chef. Definitive examples of our orders. When the meal came out with the wrong side, another waitress had the right dish on my table before I could mention it. Exceptional all around.“

“We have eaten here many times and have never had a single meal that wasn’t full of flavor. The clam strip appetizer with in-house tarter leaves you feeling like you are on the New England coast. Hands down the best I have ever had outside of New England. The steaks are amazing. The service is outstanding. The last few times Lakin has been our server and is always friendly and attentive. We have been able to try many menu items including a combo dessert of fried cheesecake wontons with the best bread pudding- delicious! Highly recommend!“
“Very nice, homely, well lit ambiance. Going in gives you hometown diner vibes. Everyone was nice and friendly! We tried the catfish, fried chicken, fries, corn and slaw. Oh and the fried pickles were seasoned to perfection. I would give it another go! The fried chicken had a homemade coating that was really crispy and flaky just like I like it. It was also very juicy. Catfish could've been fried a little harder but was still good.“
“First time here.I was greeted as soon as I walked in, seated with a menu and drink order taken.They have breakfast all day plus lunch and dinner with a soup and salad option on the menu.I ordered the BBQ Brisket sandwich with crinkle fries and an ice water. It was very tasty. Brisket was very tender and they didn't skimp on the portion size.Relaxing atmosphere.Very clean.Will definitely be back.“
“This little place was a great find! We were looking for something unique to the area. Every single person who took care of us was friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome. (& I'd guess it is mostly a local spot, friendly patrons as well!) In my opinion they had an excellent selection of wine, though I had a beer with my ribeye. I saw two of my all time favs behind the bar; Caymus and Stag Hill. We had ribeyes (which were good) and awesome mashed potatoes. They had homemade bread pudding on the menu which is my husband's fav, but we were too stuffed to attempt it. It's located in a small strip mall, we almost couldn't find it. Worth checking out!“

“Almost did not try because of odd name, bldg and location in a dusty gravel parking lot. Glad I did! Was a pleasant surprise! Case of don't judge a book by its cover. These folks are impressive! They are putting out a big variety of tasty comfort foods in a very fast, friendly manner. Price and very personable employees make up for the lack of decor like a Cracker Barrel. Too bad no dinner hrs, but could always order late lunch take out dinners! Chicken fried chicken with country gravy was yummy!Dietary restrictions: Had warmed sugar free syrup for giant pancake!“
