Food was hot and served in a reasonable amount of time. Salad bar always fresh and good selection. Service (if everyone shows) is very friendly and helpful. Unique atmosphere, and I love it! Slight complaints: one time my steak was gray (not grilled enough) but it was cooked correctly and tasted okay, forgot the other one so must not have been that important
On a return trip back from Kansas we had to decide on a place to eat. I suggested once we approached Guthrie wet did pick a place.We decided on Stables Cafe' although there were plenty of other options. First we has to find a place to park whick turned out to be a short walk once we did.We walked right up to the hostess and we were seated right away. I think this is a must place to try again! We were on a return trip from Kansas and since we skipped breakfast we figured we'd find a place for lunch. I did a Yelp search and this was an option, it did not disappoint! The menu is quite extensive so I know I have to return to try. We started out with onion rings as an appetizer they were more like onion straws, good but I doubt I will try them again! I chose the Pulled Pork Sandwich w/side of Cole Slaw.
