Amazing food and amazing folks. I would rate this one of the best places to get food in Lawton. Everything is made to order, expect a small wait and great conversation.
I just got off the plane and wanted soul food. This food is so good. Baked chicken, Mac n cheese, collard greens, corn bread, and red velvet cake (with nuts added). Mrs GG herself is so sweet, also very honest and professional. If I lived here I'd be a regular ❤️

I don't know what time they open but it is not 11am as according to Google maps. I walked in @1120 and the guy behind the counter looked at me confused and said, "what's happenin' ". I asked if they were open and he said, "no, we are not open yet", I apologized and walked out. He never offered me a time they do open or did he act as if my business was important. He didn't even act like me as a costumer meant anything.

I live in Dallas. I went to visit my Nephew in Lawton. I found this restaurant online & WHAT A FIND!! I stopped on the out for food to bring home. I bought 2 dinners. As soon as I walked in the house I tore into those sacks. With my first bites I was taken back to my 'Grand Mama's' kitchen Sundays after Church! OMG!!! I had meatloaf, greens, yams & cabbage on 1 plate. Chicken & dressing on the other plate! EVERYTHING WAS DEELICIOUS!! If I have to pick a favorite - I can't. The seasoning, the LARGE portions were ALL on point! BTW the service was GREAT, the restaurant was CLEAN. This place is a PERFECT 10!! My next visit won't be soon enough.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this little place in Lawton. The food was cooked to order. It's no-frills, no fuss, but you don't need them when the food is good. I ordered fried chicken, chicken dressing and gravy, and cabbage. It was all delicious. The chicken was cooked to order. The cabbage and dressing were served hot and were both delicious. My friend ordered the fried pork chop dinner and she said it was delicious as well. We both enjoyed it immensely, and would recommend it to anyone. We were both enjoying our food so much we forgot to take pictures. The hours are incorrect on Google-the young man in the restaurant said they are 11-6 Wednesday-Sunday.
We ate inside, but looks like a popular Togo location! Friendly staff. Small but efficient menu. Appears to change daily. Few beverage choices. Classic home cooking! Cabbage was wonderfully sweet, mashed potatoes and gravy perfect, meatloaf and baked chicken amazing! Don’t miss out! Great stop while we were in town!
