I loved Sura when the previous owner was there. She had the best banchan, and the food was always flavourful and refreshing. Her menu, not to mention her actual cooking skills, were certainly the best for Korean food in town. I heard that the new owners are the owners of the Junction, and they've changed the menu. I was heartbroken to learn this. Please bring back original Sura. ?
Original owners were from Koreatown Los Angeles. My husband and I would drive 60 miles just for some grilled chicken bulgogi, tangsooyook and jjajangmyun because it tasted EXACTLY like Korean food in Ktown LA which is better than in Korea.There is new ownership since 1st wk of Nov. Food is inedible. Everything is too sweet and the Ajumma cook does not know what she is doing. She came out to greet us and explain that she adapted all her dishes to what Americans like, sweet and fatty. That is not authentic Korean food. She apologized.Please restore the old menu w/ a master chef because the flavors and quality are not even half of what authentic Korean food should be close to. Ease the transition to a newer more updated menu. Abruptly changing all the dishes overnight and offering less than authentic Korean main dishes is an injustice to the rich culture and flavors of what people are drawn to in Korean cuisine!

The food was very good! I got the beef bulgogi. It came with white rice and some delicious Korean sides. However. They don't serve alcohol, boooo!!! I loved the decor. They had this cool illusion thing on the wall and fun decorations up for Christmas. My food came fast, but I sat a while with my wallet out waiting for my check before the girl told me to go to the front to pay my bill. I will definitely be back though! I want to try more!
