Me and my boyfriend came to eat, his steak was amazing and I got the shrimp scampi. I’ve never seen him eat so much, plus the food has great flavor and the people were very nice and welcoming .Would definitely recommend.

I dont usually make reviews but here we are...We went to eat at a little after 8pm(8:15?) On March 19th but was turned away because "they were done serving"....they close at 9pm. There was other customers eating. Most food places wont turn customers away until 15 til their closing time. Even tried to make a to go order... I dont know if we will be back because I really like the food. Food has always been good. A while back I've made a comment to the owner about service because it really was that bad. I usually dont say anything but the incident was 1 girl was screaming loud enough for everyone to hear and what was said to another employee was bullying(the girl cried). Which the next time we were there i noticed the girl didnt work their anymore. I did mention it to the owner but they didn't listen or seem to care to much. Even asked about the girl and she said she is just a server that has no authority so that makes the situation worse. Owner: So if your still losing employees and/or money my comment is still valid even months later. Which means there's still only 1 person holding you back from being more successful. Still think you should get camers inside because apparently you're not believing people. Just because she's worked there or is family doesn't mean you have to keep her. Plus there's been other issues but I won't waste anymore time. Maybe this will open your eyes with my comment being public now.

Best Italian restaurant in McAlester and the surrounding area. I have never ordered something that I didn't like. The rolls are so good with their alfredo sauce. Their pizza is in my opinion the best in McAlester as well. I highly recommend eating there.

Took my younger brother who lives in a nursing home for his birthday. He's in a wheel chair and they gave us the best table for him and everyone to maneuver so he didn't feel uncomfortable. Then I had a cake and candles and they brought it out and our group and a few other tables joined in to sing happy Birthday and this was the happiest I've seen him in over 10 years. Thank you Modo Mio we love you so much, such a great birthday presentation. We will return! Best part is its BYOB!!! For those of you unfamiliar with the term it means you bring your own beer or booze or wine!!! Thanks again everyone for taking time to read my post. Please follow me for more amazing places to see, eat, maybe go wild or relax. Trust me I love it all!Wheelchair accessibility: Unless we were on the wrong side we didn't see a wheel chair access, but there could have been one on the other side. We were hungry and ready to eat so we carried him. Lol

This is our favorite place for a special romantic dinner date in McAlester. Food is delicious and the service is awesome. Tiramisu was always my favorite Italian dessert until I tried their limoncello. It's like eating a delicious delicate lemony cloud..My husband always gets the chicken Parmesan pasta but I'm working through the rest of the menu. We both decided to try the wood oven pizza on our next trip. We've eaten at Italian places in north Boston, Philly, Chicago and other places and this place can hold its own against those cities.

Waiter was gonna get punched in the mouth! Everything we ordered was "that's gonna be extra" is what he would say. The food wasn't authentic, the pasta isn't freshly made and the spaghetti sauce was definitely bought. More or less we spent $75 on chef Boyardee.

The service was friendly but the food was expensive and unsatisfying. The salad was plain just lettuce one tomato with ranch. The food was processed not fresh. Sauce tasted like it was right out of a can. Very disappointing for what I expected.

Lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. We were seated immediately by friendly staff. The restaurant itself is pretty basic in terms of decor (Italian themed but nothing fancy). The food, though! I had a lunch portion of eggplant parmigiana that was incredible. Three flavorful slices of perfectly cooked eggplant on top of a generous helping of spaghetti with marinara and melted cheese - way more than I can eat at lunch (yay, leftovers!). My husband had the baked ziti lunch special - pasta the perfect consistency and a great sauce. Both came with salads. We had Cesar dressing which was tasty but a little over dressed for my taste. The bill was right about $20 so a heck of a bargain.
