We ate visiting the town for the first time and found this place online!The chicken fries steak was great but the mashed potato was ok! The fried okra was great:) we asked them to go but they forgot to put any forks or ketchup or mayo …! Loved the restaurant setup with those old fashion phones on the tables :) plus the prices were really good vs where we r coming from!!
It's still great. You can't say that very often anymore. I get a steak sandwich at least once a month. I'm sure I would go more often if I didn't live 80 miles away."Chuck House. It's still as good as it was when I first went there in the late 70's"

I had a country fried steak sandwich with fries...I'm totally ADDICTED ..I hit the drive thru every Saturday...made the mistake of going to "a very popular restaurant" for a sandwich and was completely disappointed...CHUCK HOUSE is the ONLY spot I'll got to...tender steak with perfect seasoning...see you guys Satirday?
