Mountain view is way over the top when it comes to cost of Pub food. You can expect to pay approximately $3.00 more per menu item than it would cost elsewhere at most places of this nature. The food is okay allow I've had better for a lesser price. When it comes to having a drink from the bar, you're best to stick with water. As an example, I ordered a Blue Moon beer and to my surprise when getting the bill, it was $10.00 a glass. I've never had a Blue Moon anywhere that was at a cost of $10.00. I guess you're paying for the view if sitting outside! Sorry, I won't go back view or not.

Not worth your time. They don't disclose that they charge $10 for a glass of beer, and the food is mediocre. Service was lacking. Had to request multiple times for things we had mentioned at the time of the order. Far better places where they treat you better in Carefree and Cave Creek. So this is no value, way too expensive, for nothing special.

We enjoy coming here. It's not fancy but the views are amazing! The service has always been consistently good. Highly recommend their fish and chips! Live music is always a plus.

Cave creek local here and I am hesitant to write in. But maybe the business owners are monitoring Yelp and we can help save your servers?? I Just paid $60 plus tip for get this - two church music beers and one order of fish and chips, at lunch. This is beyond outrageous and you can't expect anyone to be ok with these prices. Do better. The locals and tourists don't deserve to be gouged. $10 drafts is beyond sad.

I've been coming here for last three years. The food is really good! The service as with all restaurants depends on the server, some are new and learning, some have been there a long time. All are great and everyone goes out of their way for you. If it's busy just have patience and enjoy the view or the music- the owners are awesome and the regulars are their for a reason- because it's like our real life "Cheers". if you get the chance, stop by and say hi and get ready to feel like home!

Great place for food and beers. Servers are great and the owners were super nice. Lots of locals which tells you it's fun. I enjoyed sitting at the bar and meeting new people.
Went here with a large group for entertainment and dinner. Server so good. Did separate checks and no forced gratuity. We had numerous drinks including margaritas, wine, draft beer and screwdrivers. I had fish and chips. One large piece which I was hesitant about but server said it was good. Cole slaw was excellent. Fries and fish hot. My wife had stuffed bell pepper and other the shrimp cocktail and Shephard pie. Great service and many menu options. Fun people at this place.

Spectacular view! Good wait staff. Food was very average. Way overpriced. Ordered chips/salsa and two salads and it was $60! They charged me $4 for a club soda. Ive never been charged for club soda anywhere unless it was bottled. Maybe I could see a nominal charge but $4? Insane.

I have lived in Cave Creek for 2 years and often gone to this restaurant for happy hour .... Each and every time we order house Char and house Cab and have always paid the happy hour price .... Tonight however we were charged 10.00 and 9.00 respectively ... So apparently the happy hour at Mountain View ... house wine is not happy hour wine .... Nice deceptive practice ....The server could have easily rectified this .... So happy hour wine is a lower level than the house wine .... Very classy ..not
