The food took over a hour to get. When the waitress said the tacos would be “like how you make them at home”, I was thinking they would be good.This was a false statement. The taco meat was very bland and needed help.Other food was liked by the party so I guess that was a plus.The waitress was nice as well and worked hard.The rest of the staff just kind of lingered around the restaurant when not working. You could hear them laughing it up and being professional.

Tamales….these are most definitely hormel canned tamales. The staff is friendly unfortunately the food is horrible over spiced over salted

we went on a field trip with our little kids from school. i don’t know if she was the manager or what but she hit one of our girls with a plate and did not ever apologize. they didn't bring 5 of our childrens food until 30 minutes after our other kids ate and we had to go tell them they didn’t bring our food since they “didn’t remember”. if i could rate this place half a star then i would. at the end when i was paying for my food with a $20 bill they did not give me all of my change. i recommend literally any other Mexican restaurant in the area besides this one.

I've been here with FOUR SMALL KIDS for 15 minutes. the first five minutes, the"hostess" ignored us and had her back to us for 5 minutes while chatting it up with another employee. I literally had to raise my voice after saying "excuse me" 3 times because she didn't hear me. I was 3 or 4 feet away.Now I've been at a table with FOUR KIDS (ages 2-6) for 15 minutes and no employee has even said a word. Several customers commented on how well- behaved the kids were, though.We never got service after 20 minutes, so I told a waitress that we've been here for 20 minutes, and she rudely said, "that's right!" And turned to walk away. She had a long brown ponytail with bright yellow bands all down it.I love El Chicos, but will NEVER go to this one in Muskogee again. Very poor management with even worse employees.

Had not been to this location in years. It has always been good especially the white sauce they serve with the chips. The white sauce is not queso but sorta like a nice ranch dressing with a twist. Daisey was our waitress, super personality. Food very fresh, enchiladas, burritos and tamales all tasted like home made. Definitely worth the hour drive. Hope to be back so and lucky enough to see Daisey. Thanks for a wonderful evening, good food and good service.

The service sucked. The waitress was rude and couldn't remember nothing. This experience was awful. The one in Tulsa is way better and I will never come back to this one! My chimichanga was not fried all the way it was really doughy. And my boyfriend didn't get what he ordered either. Waitress didn't follow instructions very well!

Me and my husband went there today at 1:00pm- it wasn’t busy very few people there- we stood waiting to be seated for about 5 min-finally a waitress that was takin someone drinks seen us and grabbed 2 menus and said follow me, she put the menus on a table and left, didn’t say anything to us, nothing… jus tossed the menus on the table in her way back to the kitchen-,me and my husband assumed that’s where we were suppose to sit so we sat down and waited….. and waited….. and waited, probably longer than we should have but we really didn’t want to go somewhere eles… after watchin other tables get there drinks and other stuff we left after 20 min

Not Happy!! They do not answer the phone, food cold, poor service. A roach was crawling on the wall. I feel like the District Manager really needs to pop in the Muskogee El Chico and do something!!
Food was too spicy for my liking.Make the food not spicy and have hot sauce on the table so the customer can make it as spicy as they want. Don't punish the customers like myself.I won't return again.
