I love this place, the people who work there are so nice and happy to make your food how you want it. It's good food and it's really affordable. The place is always clean and it has a very homey atmosphere. Plus the margaritas are amazing

I should have made this post in July but it's ok I'm making it now. The food here is cooked very well and filling. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The bartender makes drinks properly. This is the better Mexican Restaurant in Muskogee. I enjoyed myself.

I have eaten at a hundred or more Mexican restaurants between Hawaii and New York as well as Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. It is below par. Even below the typical cookie cutter Mexican restaurant. The chips were plane, the margarita was missing something, and the fajitas was oily. But I ate everything because I love Mexican food. I would avoid this place in the future.

Good food, big drink menu, average service, but I just cannot recommend it, because.... Fresh chips, average salsa. We had the Taco Salad and the Combo Enchilada Dinner. The meats in both meals were nicely seasoned, which made for good enchiladas (chicken and beef) and a tasty taco salad. The taco salad came with a generous helping of guacamole and a real plus, a side of queso. Both meals were enjoyable. The problem was, when we walked in the door there was a very noticeable musty odor in the restaurant. An unpleasant odor. Today was a typical hot humid Oklahoma day. It was warm in the restaurant. Their air conditioner did not seem to be working properly. Maybe, that was the cause. When we got back to the car my wife commented that "she could also smell some type of cleaning solution in the air, similar in smell to Fabuloso, as if they were trying to cover the odor." The food is good, but until the place smells better and the air conditioner is working I cannot recommend Sonora Grill and Cantina.

If I could give zero stars I would. Went in on 2/7/2022 at noon for lunch. At noon the building was empty so service should have been good. We ordered 2 sweet tea's both of which had brown slimy chunks floating in the tea. The food was bland and had no flavor as if it had just been dumped out of a can and heated. The waiter was less than personable. Only a few bites into our meal and we packed up our left overs not for us or the dogs but the pigs as it was that bad. I do not recommend going there.
