“When i order food from here, the staff is always kind, and when i order some hot sauce in a container to go, they are usually fast to get it, but if they have some troubles they pretty often give it for free, even if i offer to pay for it anyways. The food i get always tastes great.“
“Max's/Maxine's is an "ole' reliable" when it comes to the traditional bar scene. Great place to dance the night away with locals. But they've really stepped up their game with the restaurant side of the operation. The food is truly outstanding. The burgers rival any burger in Muskogee. The fried mushrooms are hand breaded and not just fried from frozen, and they are worth getting every single visit. The ranch is top notch. They offer a really delicious Saturday brunch menu, but I wish they would do Sunday brunch. They decorate big for Christmas every year, which is really fun. And they have a seasonal photo area that always has a cute backdrop. The only real struggle with Max's is consistent service. It seems like they are always short-handed and very slow. They take reservations for big groups, but don't actually use them, so you still have to wait, which defeats the purpose of reservations. But I'll continue to go for those fried mushrooms!“
