Best word I could describe this business is perplexing. They do not have wish pickup at this location. They may have before ownership changed but should update!! They should report to Wish (That they do not do Wish pickup anymore) What do they do with all the packages they get?!?!? Either they are scammers or just completely incompetent. They need to take down, that they are a “pickup for Wish”. As for the food. I called 5 times to place a large to go order for an event. They never answers the phone. I can’t say how the food tastes after new owners but prior was pretty good. I haven’t heard any positive reviews yet (since new owners) only from prior. I was told don’t order from them anymore. The food isn’t as good as it use to be. I really don’t know & perhaps they are closed for good by now; but it still says you can pick up wish there. We where there lunchtime between 1-3 on 5 separate occasions & closed. I had asked the nutrition/smoothie place next door and they said.No one even goes there and they are never open. They thought they where closed too. I called so many different times and time no answer. If they are open and can’t afford Simone to pickup the phone for orders. Why don’t they have an answering machine?

I've eaten there twice. The first time, I ordered a chicken fried steak sandwich with a side of okra. The steak itself was tender; the batter was greasy and unseasoned. Very good okra. I thought it was overall unimpressive and overpriced at $10.99. I also waited quite a bit longer than I expected. My second visit, I ordered chicken tenders with double okra for the sides. Chicken was chewy. Batter was unseasoned and greasy. Gravy had a burnt taste. Okra was good, but portion size the same as before, not doubled. $12 after tax. Again, it took an unusually long time to get my food. If it matters, both visits were at about 2:00, not during busy periods.

We went there for lunch on a Sunday. They had a pretty good menu but they told us they only had tamales on that day. That was first disappointment. We ordered our tamales and they were a little small but very good. But 2nd disappointment was the price. For a small tamale they wanted $3.99 which was pretty pricey. They have only been there a year and it's nice that we have new restaurants but a bit disappointing. We will probably go back at some point. They folks there were very friendly.

Extensive menu of Tex-Mex and southern specialty dishes, attentive staff, and affordable prices. Definitely worth a try!

Everything we had was microwaved except for the eggs!! Microwaved bacon..reheated gravy...rubber sausage. For 15.00 a person for the all you can eat is a waste of money. Will not be back.

the roast fell apart easily and was amazing as well as the tamales themselves. However would have been 3 stars if not for the super sweet and friendly waitress as well as fast service. Food is a little pricey. But if you do stop in I highly recommend the pie and cookies. They were fresh and mouthwatering

We love to order from here and pickup. Brings back memories of home cooking. And the tamales are a big hit when we have company.

First visit there was pleasant. I had one of the evening specials with green chilies and cheese tamales and beans. They were quite good as was the guacamole and salsa. An option for dessert was blackberry cobbler. The crust was not done and mushy.I won't get cobbler again but everything else I had will bring me back to try more.

Just ate my first breakfast here and it won't be my last. Wow, my wife and I were blown away. Everything we had was amazing. This isn't your average restaurant food, this was home cooking at its finest. The staff was also incredibly friendly. We can't wait to go back.Going to give them a 5, but only because 10 isn't an option.

Delicious food. Large portions. Great service. Reasonable prices. Tasty tamales may be the headliner that draws people in (the green chili & cheese are my favorite) but the savory southern cooking like slow cooked roast, meatloaf, and chicken fried steak keeps 'em coming back. Chalkboard specials such as Indian tacos, stuffed poblano peppers, and chicken cordon bleu vary daily to expand the menu. I've enjoyed several yummy meals here and look forward to many more. You will too!

Food was amazing & very reasonably priced! Our waitress Dee was very sweet & attentive. The salsas & jellys are homemade & so good! I got the Tamale special, 2 Tamales covered with chili, queso, guacamole & all the vegetables. Ate there twice last week, it was that good!

Best chicken fried steak I've had, blows Kendall's out of the water. The jalapeno jelly chicken sandwich is also fantastic. Has a cute shop inside with tons of local products, so you can feel good knowing you're supporting your local community when you buy here. Massive portions of food for a cheap price.

I love the cheese tamales the young lady suggested at the counter. This place is more than just a restaurant, they have locally, handmade items as well. Check them out!!!
