4.5 stars, rounded up. The Dragon Fire Ramen is aptly named. Spicy ramen lovers, give it a try!Parking: Like all Campus Corner places, parking will depend on the day.

I had high hopes for this place after reading their website and reviews but was sadly left disappointed and still hungry. I think the main problem here is that management is not supporting the staff. There was one very overwhelmed waitress who could not at all handle the few amount of people there. Dirty dishes and cups were left all over the restaurant. She was slow to seat people and slow to take orders. Kitchen seemed slow but also food that was ready ended up being lukewarm by the time it got to our tables. There was an awkwardness in the air because we could all see how disorganized the restaurant was and felt bad for how stressed the waitress looked every time more people came through the door. The bulgogi smelled strangely like mall pretzels. The rice under the katsu was slimy. The karaage was very small and was basically just popcorn chicken. The waitress noticed that the karaage looked wrong and gave us a discount on it. It was just a strange and unsatisfying experience. I would not recommend it.

Fun new ramen spot for when it's cold outside! A yummy must go to place in Norman! Service was quick and everyone was very friendly!

The portion was very small and there was no soy sauce or anything to make it spicy. Very expensive for what we got. Also the fried appetizers were not good. Wasn't greeted when we walked in. The atmosphere was cool but there was no one there. I will never cheat on Tatsumaki again.

I’ll start this review by saying: I really wanted to like this place. Norman deserves a decent ramen spot on Main Street. InkFire is rated very highly, but unfortunately I can’t recommend eating here.I went with some friends during Norman Art Walk. Our server was forgetful despite there only being maybe a dozen people in the whole restaurant. After a 20 minute wait, our food started arriving. It didn’t arrive all at once: there was a 5 minute wait between mine and my friend’s food arriving. I ordered the spicy miso ramen and was severely disappointed. The noodles were just a step above the $0.28 stuff you ate in your teens. The broth was served lukewarm, but somehow the noodles were still over cooked. The chashudon was dry, over cooked, and as thin as a pepperoni slice. The worst part was that the price: my bowl was about $2-$3 more expensive than Tamashii, who I consider to be the local standard bearer. The atmosphere is agreeable. No complaints there, but I found the food forgettable at best.

Sad the meeting place closed but inkfire is awesome.Great food and family feeling environment. The takoyaki was really unique and delicious. Spice level is pretty perfect and you can increase it to whatever you want. The owner came in and went out of her way to let us try some of the different items. Awesome causal date night spot.

The food a little while to arrive, even though it wasn't busy. The appetizers were great. Would highly recommend the Geso Karaage and Takoyaki. Didn't love the ramen though. Too little chasu, and didn't love the wavy noodles. If the noodles were improved, I think the ramen might be pretty good since the broth was fine. Overall, not a bad experience, but can be improved a lot.

Went there for lunch. The starters were okay but the ramen was below average. The noodles was not hommade. It had very little amount of chasu and the broth was too salty. The service was slow as well. Probably won't come back here again.

This was my first time here and although I enjoyed my food I was completely let down by the service. Server yanked my menu out of my hands while I was still reading the menu, food and drinks were served and we never saw the server again until we had been sitting there for 10 mins with empty plates and empty drinks. No one checked on us during the entire meal to see how we enjoyed the food or if we needed refills(which we all did). I would try this place again, but I would suggest the manager consider looking for better servers or training them better. No excuse why we sat there for an hour meal and never once got asked how we like the food or if we would like a refill.

Absolutely wonderful new restaurant in beautiful, historic Downtown Norman.Great food, great owner, great staff, the food is gorgeous, as well as delicious!Try it, you won’t be disappointed!Vegetarian options: Vegan & vegetarian available. It’s Asian.. lots of options!Parking: Main St has first come first serve parking, but there is a sizable parking lot right behind the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Front door is wide and sidewalk level..no stairs, no noticeable threshold.

I absolutely love my ramen, and I'm very picky when I rate it. Today, I had the pleasure of enjoying the Ramen at Inkfire. In some places, the Ramen stock is simple and basic, and while that is not a bad thing, sometimes I want a Ramen to entice my taste buds. For this, I used to have to drive 20-30min, but not anymore. The owner, Vicki, takes so much pride in the dishes she has created, and she should. The flavor of every bite I took showed the love that she had put into this place. The Ramen is a good portion, not to little, not to much. The spicy miso has a smooth flavor with a nice spice kick that doesn't overpower the flavor. The takoyaki was really one of the best I have had. Where most places use minced octopus, inkfire uses actual chunks of octopus, and they are topped with in house made sauce and dried tuna flakes. There is also i nice selection of imported beers and spirits from Japan and China and a nice selection of sake and plum wine. I can't wait to go back to try something new.

If you're a gourmand, there is no other place in Norman that offers such intriguing flavors. Certainly not for those who need a basic meal, Inkfire brings full complex flavors using ingredients not typically seen in the Midwest.
