We will eat at this buffet on a Saturday afternoon whenever we have a coupon . I would say the buffet items are mediocre. This time I could only eat two buckets of the crab legs, so i wasn't able to eat my money's worth. They were overcooked, which made them really chewy. When I tried bending them to open, they would not snap in half, so the meaty portion would not come out whole.The buffet items, surprisingly, tasted better than the crab legs....a rare occasion.

The food at the buffet and chip and ales used to be good! It's no wonder they give it to you for free, nasty all the way! Maybe hire a chef who knows how to cook! I would never pay for the for any meal at Riverwind.

My husband and I were invited bye my cousin for diner on 12/22/23 my cousin arrived a little earlier than us decided to go in and get a table but to his surprise he was seated at a table for two. When we arrived he came to the front and asked if we could be seated together but they said they couldn’t seat us together because we didn’t arrive together thy said that its the restaurant rule.The staff wasn’t friendly at all and when the manager came he accused us of being rude to his staff and had the nerve to say that he could off accommodate us but since we where being rude he wasn’t going to. We where never rude, we’re not that kind of people, we where trying to tell them that what they where saying and doing was wrong. Another manager tried to say that it wouldn’t be fair to the waitress cause she wouldn’t be getting her tip if they changed my cousin to another table, but my cousin offer to tip both waitress and they still wouldn’t do it . Let me mention that it was around 9:00pm and the restaurant wasn’t busy there where plenty of empty tables. The sign on the wall did specify that a party of 5 or more in order to be seated together would all need to be present, we where only a party of four, It was the worse experience, we had never been treated like that, it felt we where being discriminated bye this people, the things they where saying didn’t even made sense over all it was ridiculous. They end up giving us a refund and we went to eat somewhere else where they didn’t have a problem accommodate us and had great service! We definitely not recommend this place at all! Worse experience ever!!!!??

Over priced no service and the online menu is a lie they don't have half of what it says so basically you get snow crab or prime rib or carved dry turkey for your$40 dollars with a terrible salad bar a decent dessert bar and there is a lot of empty space on buffet line that could have food on it but for the long 2 hour wait the over priced buffet with limited to no selection trust me drive 5 minutes north on i35 to Golden Corral it will be easy better and fresher plus half priceBUYER BEWARE YOU'VE BEEN WARNED DON'T EAT HERE ???

I went to eat here with my mom for her birthday dinner yesterday on Fri 10/27/23.They said it was all you can eat steak the steak was dry with no seasoning all the food was so bland it had no salt on the green beans.The waitress checked on us once.I would definitely not eat here again until they can get some season or flavor on the food it was cold as well.I don’t think for two of us to eat for a total of $65 bucks was worth it not one bit.I would rate it a 1 and it’s only cause the soda was decent.

So we went Saturday 10/14/2023 to eat their all you can eat seafood buffet. some Items listed on their online menu was not available my biggest complaint was my father who has to use a walker was with us and he was not able to make it through to the buffet from where they sat us. You would think this restaurant would be in compliance with people with disabilities and have space for them to get around instead of being trapped in by tables to close together and no isles to move around to get to the front so he was not able to access the buffet part, thankfully some people helped by moving their chairs, table etc for him but it took awhile and he was exhausted after taking so long to get to the buffet part and back and slightly embarrassed. Would love managers feedback on how they will address this issue. I know if this happened to my father it has happened to several others with walkers and wheelchairs

I am so, so disappointed in the steak dinner we had last Friday night, Sept.29th. It was my birthday. Three of us went down, my son, my good friend and myself anticipating a fun filled evening plus a delicious meal! Mind you, we have gone done several times for the steak meal and it has always been delicious! well, not on Sept 29th it was terrible!! The steak was so tough and so full of grizzel (spelling) you couldn't even cut it with a steak knife! Neither my friend nor I could finish our coffee. It is usually very good but I guess you let the strange off the street make the coffee also! What has happened to you folks!? Your Friday night steal has always been so good! Did you butcher an old bull straight from the rodeo and bring in someone off the street that has NEVER cooked before? That was $89.97 down the drain!! The service was good though.
