This was our 1st time to try this place and we were amazed at how good the food was. Everything was seasoned perfectly and the meatballs were absolutely delicious. We were very pleased with the service, the wait staff was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be going back here again soon and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some good Italian food!

Dinner was good.During dinner we found a nasty mess between our booth and the wall.... looks like no one has cleaned in awhile due to the cobwebs that we're on the cloth napkin on the floor.

I should've read the reviews before eating here. Service was ehhh just OK. I was greeted by the manager after a brief moment of watching the restaurant, who then said he would be right back, he was busy sitting a big party. Not a problem, he asked my waitress to seat me all was good with that. However this an open kitchen style of establishment and you could hear banter between the kitchen and wait staff, still not a big deal. I ordered my drink and it soon followed along with the cold bread. I ordered the Mama sampler and a bowl of the Italian wedding soup. Well because of the big party that was seated just before I arrived made someone nervous as they were obviously understaffed for such an event. Long story short, my soup and my entree both get to the table at the same time and both withing literally 3 minutes of the order being put in. So fast service right??? Too bad the soup ALWAYS comes out before the meal, by the time the soup was dealt with my main course was cold...oh and the lasagna burnt. Not just burnt but to the point where the white ricotta cheese turned to a tan hard substance, and the noodles well you can imagine. I managed to stomach the spaghetti and cold meat ball, and a touch of the tasteless fettuccine Alfredo. I considered a second chance here but after the manager took off the soup and my tea (the best part of the meal) instead of the unedible main course I decided this place here isn't worth a passing glance. Wish I could give a 1/2 star.

Portion size is good. I ordered the artichoke/spinach penne, I thought it would contain pieces of artichokes. It does not. Italian wedding soup, while very good, was a surprise ? to use penne pasta, not small balls of dough. Strawberry ? vinegrette is very wonderful. Bread, oil and balsamic vinegar was super. Restaurant was quiet ? and a good place for our 6 person Birthday ? for my Momma. Thanks ?.

My family tried to go here yesterday. Have been many times before. This was for my daughter birthday. We were a decent size party of 15. We didn't call ahead because it was a week day. As we walked in I noticed the signs saying they were short staffed and would do the best they could. I completely understand that, and just figured we would be there longer then usual. Saw only about 5-6 people working from front to back. The waitress/hostess came up and asked how many people. I told her and she said ohh with some disgust. She told me just a minute and went and talked to what I assume was a manger eating dinner. She came back with, we can seat you, but we will have to split you up into two groups. I get that because not necessarily enough room for that many people at one setting. I asked would we be right by each other and she said no. I said it was for a birthday, and she could care less. She said she had to separate us do to COVID even though we were family. Norman doesn't have any COVID restrictions now. I feel like this was an excuse because they didn't want to deal with a large party. Terrible customer relations! We went to one of the other restaurants close by and were seated promptly. I get business is hard right now and many people don't want to work in the food industry with all the Gov handouts, but pushing people away will not help your cause. Best of luck, we won't be back any time soon.

Can anyone in OK make an authentic Italian pizza? Ordered online today and another disappointment. Crust too heavy. Way too much sauce. Very little topping and I am not sure about that cheese at all. I picked over 1-2 pieces and threw it in the trash. It was way too small for the price. St Anthony, please send some good pizza to Oklahoma!!

Came here for Italian. We moved away and used to love zios just a few years ago. We returned for a visit. Tonight a sign on the door says they didn't have enough staff and to expect a wait. The restaurant was empty. The food was not good. Spaghetti feast tasted like canned spaghetti. The meatball was bland and grey. Pasta was over cooked and almost soggy. The lasagna ordered was barely warm. Our server was great and I felt bad for her. Food was the problem and. Not the service. Very disappointing. Very sad in a time that so many restaurants are closing due to Covid that the ones that remain open are cleared off the list for poor quality. We will not return.

I would have left zero if possible. I asked for the veggies to be subbed for the pasta in a dish and they charged me 4 extra dollars and then didn’t even tell me so I paid 17.99 for a meal that was certainly not worth that. Nobody would say or do anything to even try to make the situation better. I won’t be back ever. Super disappointed in the management thinking charging someone 18 for a meal was ok without telling them prior or even coming to the table to explain their reasoning.

If I could leave zero stars I would. We were a party of 8. One of only three tables. It was my daughter's graduation dinner and the service was absolutely terrible. The power flashed so they decided they weren't going to take our orders. Wouldn't bring us anymore bread even though we were in the middle of gifts and conversation. The power was ON. They completely ignored us.
