Came here with a friend for lunch during lent season. I went here looooo ago in the midtown location and just havent went back due to location. We shared the guacamole which was really fresh tasting. The added pico on top was icing on the cake. We decided to share two entrees to get a feel of how their food was. The tacos were delicious. Fresh tasting along with fresh ingredients on top. The seafood enchilada wasnt bad, but Im not a huge enchilada person. The grilled squash as a side was a great compliment. Definitely wanna come back to try the meat dishes!

At one time, the walker midtown location of 1492 couldn't be beat for Latin cuisine in the Oklahoma city metro area. When that location closed due to excessive rental costs, we were left with the inconsistent quality of the north Pennsylvania 1492 restaurant. What a sorry let down. The dishes' quality varies from visit to visit. From excessively salty to room temperature servings. This is quite the step down from their former glory. For better quality south of the border cuisine, I now recommend The Green Chili kitchen in Yukon or Poblano grill on north May Ave.

The food here was great. I had the chicken fajitas, rice and beans. I also ordered queso and chips. Food was hot and fresh. I arrived at 5 so the dinner crowd wasn't there yet and the place was quiet. The service was fantastic! Garrett took Great care of me throughout the meal!

I was there on a weekend and the pork shoulder was cooked perfectly, if you like a hint of sweetness, the coconut rice paired nicely.

Been going to this place for years. We used to go to the one in downtown Oklahoma City area until it closed down and then we go to this place. Amazing food and everybody is always so nice! Thank you for years of great food.
We went to 1492 with a group of Friday last Thursday and had a great time! The staff are super personable and our meals were delicious! It's the perfect place for a group or just small family dinner! Nothing fancy but so good and very reasonably priced!

Erin refilled our drinks and provided extra salsa without us asking, and at the beginning of a dinner rush with no other waiters. (Usually they have more waiters.) The fish tacos were nice and lite with no breading and pickled cabbage on top. And the best salsa in town!
