We were in OKC for my daughter's birthday. We had reservations at another place but it was prom weekend or something and there was absolutely no parking. Good thing for us because Abuelos was great! The peach margarita was probably the best I've had. The food was delicious and they even let the birthday girl choose a dessert for free off the menu. She got the tres leches cake. It was wonderful, tasted like ice cream. The staff was amazing, especially our server McCartney!

I never write negative reviews, but this was a must. I had made reservations on 2/2/24 for 13 for the following night for my boyfriend’s birthday! The man I spoke with was kind and asked for a name and how many. Before hanging up he never asked what time so I said, will 6:30 be a good time? He proceeded to kind of laugh and said, “Oh you’ll be good, don’t worry. We won’t be busy, but yes 6:30.” As we arrive that night right on time, the hostess stated they never had this reservation written down and that it would be an hour wait. Well our whole party was there waiting and they said “we’ve got two booths back to back we can let you use” so for the sake of not waiting an hour, we chose that. Food was subpar. Drinks weren’t the best. When the end of the night came for checks this is where it took a turn. We had 11 people in our party and everyone was coupled up, minus 1. When we got our checks nothing was right on any of them. Some couples had a check for $30 and another was $160 which was completely inaccurate. With respect we informed the waiter that these were very off. So he wrote down everyone’s order again. Then after about 30 minutes, came back with new checks. Again, they were ALL way off. At this point we’d spent 45 minutes dealing with check issues so we basically paid what was given even though some people paid for things they didn’t have. On that second go around the waiter started to become a little rude and told us “to just pay for it.” None of us were rude and understanding but at the end became a little frustrated with how we were being treated and still our problems weren’t resolved. I wouldn’t make a big issue of this but checks were off by $20,&$30,40.. wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Especially large groups. Not how I wanted a birthday dinner to go.

Great food. I had my personal favorite, Quesadilla El Horno. My friend had the Vegetarian enchiladas. My only complaint is that they don’t take apple pay! Who doesn’t take Apple Pay?!

I heard about this restaurant so of course we had to try it out. I had their gluten-free tamales, and they are amazing. Great flavor, texture and the cilantro rice and refried beans were very good. Their chips and salsa was very good. I'm not much of a tomatillo person but they mix it with pineapple. I want a gallon of it! I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning.
