Supposedly utilizes the yelp wait list, but you’re not actually on a real wait list until you show up. What’s the point? Just tell people you have to join the wait list in person. Joined the wait list at 8:30 AM, only to have my wait time reset when I arrived in person. Follow the process or don’t use it. Ruined our Mother’s Day plans. We won’t be back.Update based on response: Sorry, but this isn’t what happened. Last night I set a yelp reminder to join the wait list as you described. This morning, yelp texted me warning that the functionality was disabled today. So I joined the yelp waitlist, and was given a confirmation and tentative time of 11:45, per normal Yelp functionality. I arrived at 11:30, and confirmed my name and number of party with the door person. I then received another yelp confirmation of 1-1:30. This is not the normal yelp waitlist process. Still 0 stars, still will not return. Don’t particularly appreciate the response doubling down on YOUR lack of following the yelp process, blaming it on me without even a tacit attempt at an apology. Don’t apologize that I misunderstood your process. Apologize for misleading me into believing you use the yelp waitlist when you do not.

My husband was annoyed by the wait but said it was worth it after brunch. He finished his entire plate, which is rare he usually saves half of it but it was too good & he couldn't stop eating it.The founder of the restaurant was there helping her staff & she was the sweetest lady & told me they had just remodeled. It's so fun & colorful!

This place is BOMB, seriously one of the best restaurants in Oklahoma. I was gonna take pictures but we devoured all the food before I remembered to. The coffee was literally so good, again, one of the best I've ever had. I got the French toast latte and the Izabel breakfast, totally recommend both! Service was great and the food came out fast. The atmosphere is very pretty and modern with a unique latin twist and beautiful murals. 10/10!!

Worth the wait! Use yelp to get on the waiting list earlier and avoid the trip. Recommend the French toast if you have a sweet tooth. Portions are big so the prices are good for the quality and size!

If you haven't had cafe kacao you have been missing out on some delicious and authentic food , sure the wait is long but thats because everyone loves it ..... Just try it once I promise you will come back for more , and if u do send me an invite those chilaquiles are the best of the best!!!!

When I pulled in the parking situation was kinda NUTS- and the wait was insane. But once you get inside you understand WHY! The staff is so great, and seem to genuinely love their jobs! I’m in a wheelchair and typically when it’s a crowded busy place they make a spectacle of accommodating you. They did NOT. I didn’t feel any different than anyone else in the place, it was a well oiled machine! It was so smooth getting us seated, I appreciated that aspect alone more than you can imagine. So, I was already won over as a loyal customer then- I hadn’t even tried the food yet. It is no exaggeration THE BEST MEAL I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!! I’m currently doing the weight loss shots- and the only gratitude I have had for that process thus far is I got to take half of my food home to enjoy again! Their portions are so generous, pre weight loss shots I wouldn’t have left stuffed but satisfied! I cannot overstate how good their food really is! I don’t care who you are- if you don’t try their pancakes you’re only cheating yourself! Excellent experience all the way around!

The food is always so good. It’s expensive, but you’re getting a high-quality meal that’s usually at least 2 portions’ worth. I wish they’d expand to a bigger space. It would be nice to cut down on wait times and not be packed in like sardines once you’re seated.
This is our favorite restaurant and we always try to come every time we visit OKC. The wait time is long but once you’re seated the service is excellent. The food has never disappointed us. Definitely worth waiting for!
