We were so excited to try this place out . The atmosphere was great but we couldn’t get anyone to take our order we sat down for probably 20 mins . We were ignored by all the servers they would look at us and look away we had one waiter standing beside us on her phone . We just got up and walked out. Super disappointing experience.

As someone who loves German food and beer, and someone who lived in Germany, this was such an incredible disappointment. The Schnitzel was overcooked and tough, no knife was offered. The French fries were as bland as half cooked potatoes. You could get salt and pepper for free but if you didn't say anything they come unseasoned. If you want any other seasoning, it costs a dollar, what insanity is that? Not to mention the price of everything, 18 dollars for schnitzel in gravy and your choice of a side. Don't even bother going here, save your money and time.

Perfect place to go and get profiled. I came to eat here like I jave for years and today because I was dressed like I was working I was told I had to pay for my food upfront! Then they tried to convince me that was normal.

Finally found a good German Restaurant that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Giving this place a 5 star not because it's the best restaurant in town, but because it is exactly what it's supposed to be. Had the Jagerschnitzel, and spatzel with mushroom gravy. Food was very good. The atmosphere is true to what you may find in Germany. They have a good beer selection and a well stocked bar. Great place for a fun night out with friends.

The worst place I have ever been to. It was my 1st time there and the bar tender lost my id card, no sense of responsibility.I also saw a staff chilling out with the customers on a busy day.Worst place ever, won't recommend anyone to go there and even if you go please never ever give your id card or credit card to the bar tender.

First of all if you never go to Midtown good luck finding the place, you the directions are horrible! The service is horrible seemed more interested in talking on the phone & and bartender too busy talking to the group of people without even acknowledging an individual at the end of the bar waving their hand for help. Had high expectations of the food and couldn't be more disappointed. WILL MOST DEFINATELY NEVER BE THERE AGAIN RATHER BUY GREAT VALUE BRATS AT THE GROCERY STORE.

This traditional German Beir garden has the best brats. They even have a vegan option and it is delicious.

Meh. Not bad but nothing to write home about either. I found this place by accident while visiting OKC for work. The beer menu was pretty basic; I had hoped to have a Rauchbier or Dortmunder or something interesting like that, but no such luck. Bartender had never heard of those beer styles. I was torn between the bacon and jalapeño cheddar meatloaf or the schnitzel. I went with the schnitzel and duck fat fries based on the bartender’s recommendation. I wish I had gone for the meatloaf with a more interesting side like the sweet potato spaetzel or sprouts and bacon. The schnitzel was too thick and chewy. True schnitzel should be fork tender and pounded very thin. The gravy was really good. Nothing special about the duck fat fries. They were just regular fries. Good, hand-cut fries, but still just regular fries. I’d try this place again but I’d order much differently.

First time coming here. I am from Germany and was excited to try a German themed restaurant in America... The "German potato salad" wasnt at all what was expected and was quite disappointing. The "pork schnitzel"was overcooked and dry like it was frozen too long the fried. Tough to bite and eat.The duck fat fries were good...but that's all that was good.
