Here’s the deal. I’ve paid $500 for dinner and wine pairings for just me. But it was at a much higher quality restaurant (a Michelin star) in Chicago. And it was significantly better with better service - all the way around. And it was $500 per person. Because it’s a Michelin star. In Chicago. And it was divine. This was $500. It was in OKC. It was not Michelin star level. Parts of it were fantastic. But it was not $500 fantastic. And to be presented the check in this super gauche small grey sweater? Fine dining minimizes the transaction. This glorified it. And it did not include gratuity - which at that level I expect it to be included as it’s an experience. The service and atmosphere were trying too hard while also not being present other than what felt like memorized descriptions of things. And it took a ridiculous amount of time to get through the courses. 100% would not do it again. But you know what I would do again? Nonesuch. At a fraction of the price with superior service and wine program with food that was significantly better. Wishing I hadn’t done Grey Sweater.

Overall an amazing experience. We went to celebrate my birthday and I am very glad I chose the Grey Sweater. I have a few minor complaints but nothing that would make me not want to go back - my sommelier was rather.. sweaty.. but he was engaging and interesting and it was toasty humid so I can’t fault him for that! I did the silver (?) wine pairing and they were incredible for the courses they were selected for. To be very clear, I know nothing about wine, but even I could tell how and why one paired better than another depending on the course - of you’re splurging I highly recommend a wine pairing. Otherwise, the person I believe was Chef Black disappeared the last two courses so I was confused about if the meal was over or what was happening but he must trust his staff to handle the desserts (which they did phenomenally). We did the TASTING menu, 10 courses, and each was just a few bites, but so worth it. Don’t expect a plate full of food (this isn’t Olive Garden or some other chain…….), expect quality, decadent, not-found-elsewhere, food.

This place was incredible. The food was spectacular, the staff were very knowledgeable and kind, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I got the 10-course tasting menu with the silver wine pairing, and it was wonderful. If you choose a tasting menu, please understand you aren't getting full plates/bowls of food - you are getting one-of-a-kind tastes of different things. I don't have a lot of disposable income so for me, this was a splurge to celebrate my birthday - I don't know that I would recommend this place for a random dinner/date just for that reason. I will definitely be back to try more another time!

Look at pics people have posted. Those are about 1-2 bites each. Plan to eat before or after your $150-200 meal (7 or 10 course meal) as the point of this meal is a “unique culinary journey”. Also note the meat/main course will include the game bird, pigeon. The wine pairing will be 80% white wine. Know that if you take issue with anything, your voice will be heard but there will be no concessions.

One of my all time favorite restaurants in Oklahoma. It was an experience not a dinner. If you have a chance to enjoy this please do!!

Amazing experience! The food was spectacular and an experience to eat. It was some of the best food we've ever had. We sat near the kitchen to watch how the food was made and the process. We loved it! We did a 7 course meal and it took about 2.5 hours. My finance worked with the restaurant to propose to me. The staff helped make it such a memorable experience. I'd absolutely go back!

My husband celebrated his birthday at “Grey Sweater” yesterday. It was an amazing culinary journey to enjoy the variety of food from practically everywhere! We sat at the counter and watched the chefs prepare beautiful delicious dishes. I didn't know what to expect with a “chef's choice” menu; however since it was a special occasion, we wanted the full experience. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff treated us as special guests. Did I mention the food was AMAZING! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. My husband and I are looking forward to another visit with Grey Sweater. And hopefully next time we'll get a chance to meet Chef Andrew Black. ✌?

This was our first restaurant experience like this and we were blown away by this experience. We had the seven course meal and were absolutely in love with each course. We sat in the dining room, our table had the most amazing view of the line. The team at this restaurant moves in perfect concert. It’s like watching a ballet. The service staff were absolutely remarkable, Marco and Micheal added so much to each course. The meal that we had was beyond compare. We stayed in the moment and present for each and every course. Phones off for the entire meal, I could not have taken a picture that did the artwork we were able to eat justice. Highly recommend this experience. We look forward to a return visit.Dietary restrictions: I have celiac and the team was able to provide me with the same amazing experience as anyone else.

Really a great experience to see what food can be. Still talking about flavor nuances the next day! And that one review saying staff and chef weren't friendly - not true. They were a pleasure to talk to for the whole of the evening, including the greeting and pic with the chef.

It was a great experience and watching Chef Black was amazing. The poise and control the chef's and staff worked with was truly something to see. Cocktails and wine pairing was excellent and Grey Sweater did not disappoint for our special day.

We got the 7 course meal with their Gold Wine pairing package. This restaurant experience is at a level that I don't think we could experience again without returning to the same restaurant. Everything was perfect to the last detail and executed on such a level, I have no doubt Chef Black will receive more future awards.

It's always the best experience. Everyone should try it. Truly art and you will love every bite and want more. I always regret not doing the 10 course when I do the 7. Go 10! :)
